    Anyone dealt with fullywound.co.uk??

Searched the forums which brought up an old thread with very few responses, so guessed I'd see if anyone had some more recent feedback.

Very good and numerous feedback on eBay, seems genuine, but a strangely high proportion of listings where everything is 100% original and perfect etc. Rings an alarm bell for me.

Would be great to hear from anyone that has used them.

I did see this but hadn't realised his response was recently, thought it was 2014.

Well thats because we only buy in decent and all original watches =) OR spend a lot of time restoring them (as in using all original parts etc) we have A LOT of stock!

I suppose the meaning of "All original" could maybe be clarified a little better? say we have an omega 30T2 Wrist Watch Waterproof, say its missing hands but is otherwise a really nice piece, we wont use some rogue hands or even modern shinny service hands, we may canibalise another vintage WWW omega for ITS hands, That in my book is still, "All Original" no modern or service parts were used all parts will be vintage omega WWW parts (in this case radium or tritium hands) this does make repairs expensive (the current ETERNA listed for example the minute hand cost £295) BUT it does mean that you will have an ALL ORIGINAL WATCH.

Obviously there are times you CAN NOT do this you cant swap movements you cant swap serial numbered parts! but there are parts that "DONT COUNT" (at all) like mainsprings! EVERY watch serviced by FullyWound gets a new mainspring thats still "All Original" mainsprings dont count! Balance staffs dont count Swapping an omega 590 mainspring barrel for another 590 maisnpring barrel does not count. We DO NOT use "Clone Caliber" parts, thats not ok.

This should really be common sence tho.. otherwise only watches confirmed never serviced would be "all original" they also would not be very healthy...

    So to clarify... ALL ORIGINAL

    ALL PARTS are Period parts
No "service Parts" / New / Clone
Dial is Original Not Replaced / Repainted / Restored / Relumed etc
No "frankens" movement / dial / hands / cases switched completely between refferences

Also "All original" (that usually wont count for the strap) but sometimes it does!

Sorry to drag this up from the depths but I made a purchase from this website last sunday.
Apart from an initial order confirmation email I have heard nothing. I have sent 3 emails and
left 2 phone messages but no response. How long would you guys leave it before instigating
a paypal dispute ? We are talking a (just over) 4 figure sum.

I presume you've tried both the landline and mobile no. ? Is he still active on here, worth a PM ? If nothing by Weds next week, I'd be calling PP, and keep calling the phone number.

Hope it works out for you.

EDIT - no activity since joining 2yrs ago.

Did you read the links on this thread? FW is not what I would call a reliable seller.
