That would be nice with the Calf/Orange imho!
Hi,
A mate of mine has just had an MBI order approved which has got me back into wanting a Bremont.
I think I am about to purchase an MBII (Orange) and can't decide on straps.
I think I'll go for the std Black Calf but then want an alternative. Choices are:
Bremont NATO/GasGas Style
Kevlar
Alligator in Black
Calf with Orange Sticking
Leater NATO
WHYG?
Cheers
WM
That would be nice with the Calf/Orange imho!
Big fan of the original GGB, but it's surprisingly good on brown leather (IMVHO):
Bremont MB1.5
(watch started out with an orange mid-barrel, but I switched to anthracite at a service a few years ago)

I have a few, I have an MB3 ( bronze barrel) and an ALt1 -ZT ( grey dial)
Vintage hambleden nato
Vintage black calf ( looks like a dark inky blue/black in some lights).
Temple island rubber (I have a spare brand new one if you are interested).
Dark grey calf/white stitch (less boring than the black).
Bremont black nato (gas gas bones type)
New canvas stone/black striped Nato.
I will be getting a brown vintage at some point too. One word of advice, please check the strap length's as they vary between the types, the deployment clasp doesn't suit every wrist, some find it rather uncomfortable.
Great watch the MB, very under rated imho.

Agree with that - love these watches... maybe one to add to the wislist!
The Kevlar and the vintage brown look great. I also have my MB1.25 on a light brown nuback which is very nice.
I wear mine on this:
It’s not a Bremont strap, but it’s the one that I use the most on this watch.

I would go with black calf with orange stitching (I wear black with red on my ALT1-P black) and with a NATO - the Watch Obsession selection seems very good and good value.
What's the story behind your friends' MB1?
On a tangent, the S500/S2000 straps look pretty good on the MB range.
It’s the Tornado Aviator Model DiLC1380 by Di-Modell.

I think they work best on the calf straps. I tried the GGB style and Kevlar on mine, and neither lasted long.
Another vote for Bremont's Temple Island then you'd have all bases covered to a acompany the leather. Maybe a Hirsch Pure as a inexpensive alternative. I wore the Nubuck on my (now gone) Alt1-P but found the spring bar holes quickly became worn and loose.
Not sure on the MB range. But when I visited the Mayfair Boutique in be summer when almost buying the Solo I did fall in love with a black carbon fibre esq strap with blue detailing. Also a big fan of their leather natos.

Lots of ideas there, thank you. I especially like yours Blackhawk
what I did leave out a good rubber nato from watch gecko, cracking strap.
As others have said, I reckon a nice calf strap would look cracking on that. Anyone got a photo?
Very much love the gas gas bones velcro. And a coloured stitched matched strap. The temple island rubber is very very short as standard and the nato is too long.
Go for the white mbII. It's cooler.
Leather natos also look great

Gasgasbones as already mentioned. Otherwise PhenomeNato do a great strap.

Mine is usually on green or black Zuludiver cordura https://www.watchgecko.com/cordura-d...-zuludiver.php
Or blue rubber nato https://www.watchgecko.com/zuludiver...ap-bonetto.php
Those Cordura straps look good
For me it's the Bremont / GGB canvas strap, particularly in the summer.
Edited to say I've just realised that the watch and strap are extremely well camouflaged by the tactical rug, may be I should put it on SC :-)

Thanks all for sending the pics.....white face is now appealing to me.
Well I have an MBIII now and have put it on a Bark and Jack as an alternative to the leather.
Quality is as good as the Omegas I am a massive fan of but 1/12th the cost, £20.
