I got this one. They’ll want to make it very special if they want my cash because after the Speedy Tuesday I’m convinced more than ever that Omega are a shower of useless clowns.
I received this email from Omega this morning - anyone know anything further about this as I have heard it mentioned on the forums?

Just got this email as well.
Speedy Wednesday? They could milk this one for a while...
Morning. I got this email too although I never was never allocated a watch.
Perhaps those who where on standby will get the chance to be first in line.

Yes, got this too; but how many 'special' Speedies can there be? And this seems to suggest that marketing through the internet is going to become a regular method. Thing is, if you don't need a deposit, and you can cancel, why wouldn't loads of people sign-up? Where's the Downside?
The interesting new model would be a 'standard' Speedie but with the old 321 movement revived. Fat chance.

I didn’t get a Speedy Tuesday but also received this e-mail from Omega. These limited/special editions just keep on coming, don’t they?
Im sure they are still trying to sell Omega Specials from the Naughties still

I too got this email - but I'm still technically on the ST 'waiting list'.
The only LE Speedmaster I'd be really interested in right now is an Apollo11 50th commemoration in 2019 having said that they could surprise and come up with something good looking in the interim.
I liked the reverse panda dial so unlikely anything else will float my boat.
I'm feeling left out. No email for me.
Got the same email.
Received the same, didn’t read it properly the first tine and assumed I was now on the Speedy Tuesday list As always it will be interesting to see what the exciting 2018 release is, but I’m with Robbyman, the reverse panda dial is what attracted me most to the ST.
Any guesses to the tie-in? Hodinkee Speedy?
Ally, I think the wait will be worth it agree it’s been a poor showing on Omegas part though.

I can’t believe they are doing yet another limited edition, I feel they are devaluing the brand with so many.
It’s almost at the point where the word limited shouldn’t be used!
I"m not really interested in whether it is a limited edition or not to be honest.
Is it a good looking watch?
Is it reasonably priced in todays market?
If the answer is yes then maybe worth considering. If the ST had looked crap it wouldn't have sold.
Besides, I’ll be after the new Special Edition Tudor Black Bay Pink with Yellow spots this year so will have to miss this one unfortunately 😊
As long as it’s not a green Harrods addition.
Like a girl you previously fancied that turns out to be a little slut.

Just checked my inbox and I have the mail as well.
They are going to have to do something very special for me to spend this year.

This is funny - like my CK2998 but all these "special once limited edition come in sir this one is really special " is just so very dull
But if you really want one surely it’s worth the wait?
I don’t get involved in any of this limited edition stuff, they just don’t appeal to me, but if I did I’d accept that I may have to wait. Some get them later than others, I guess that’s the way it goes with an item that’s being produced in limited numbers.

They love to tease don’t they!? I got the email and was slightly dubious about the ‘put you at the front of the queue’ claim....
