Yes, got this too; but how many 'special' Speedies can there be? And this seems to suggest that marketing through the internet is going to become a regular method. Thing is, if you don't need a deposit, and you can cancel, why wouldn't loads of people sign-up? Where's the Downside?
The interesting new model would be a 'standard' Speedie but with the old 321 movement revived. Fat chance.

The only LE Speedmaster I'd be really interested in right now is an Apollo11 50th commemoration in 2019 having said that they could surprise and come up with something good looking in the interim.
I liked the reverse panda dial so unlikely anything else will float my boat.

Received the same, didn’t read it properly the first tine and assumed I was now on the Speedy Tuesday listAs always it will be interesting to see what the exciting 2018 release is, but I’m with Robbyman, the reverse panda dial is what attracted me most to the ST.
Any guesses to the tie-in? Hodinkee Speedy?

I can’t believe they are doing yet another limited edition, I feel they are devaluing the brand with so many.
It’s almost at the point where the word limited shouldn’t be used!

Is it a good looking watch?
Is it reasonably priced in todays market?
If the answer is yes then maybe worth considering.If the ST had looked crap it wouldn't have sold.

How do you feel about taking the watch now, are you still keen to get it or have you moved on to something else?
Besides, I’ll be after the new Special Edition Tudor Black Bay Pink with Yellow spots this year so will have to miss this one unfortunately 😊

All this messing around with endless LE's and the price rises mean I'm done with Omega. I preferred them to Rolex, but won't go back now unless it's a DSOTM for an amazing deal!

This is funny - like my CK2998 but all these "special once limited edition come in sir this one is really special " is just so very dull
I really like the CK2998, very nice watch and very difficult to find these days.
But if you really want one surely it’s worth the wait?
I don’t get involved in any of this limited edition stuff, they just don’t appeal to me, but if I did I’d accept that I may have to wait. Some get them later than others, I guess that’s the way it goes with an item that’s being produced in limited numbers.
