Amazon links - strange behaviour on iPhone

As an example, someone posted this elsewhere https://www.amazon.co.uk/Manfrotto-C...dvanced+tripod

The link opens ok on PC but on iPhone opens the item on the amazon.com site. I've noticed this behaviour before - anyone know why this is happening.

Further investigationn suggests it's Tapatalk doing this. If I select 'Web View' in Tapatalk, the link then opens correctly.

The link opens the Amazon app and displays the correct product on my iPhone. I'm using Safari to view TZ-UK.

The link works fine on a 7+ using the iCab browser.
