Looks like a re-issue of the 6159-7000/7001. Limited to 1500 so price will be £4kish I imagine!
Case size is bigger at 44.8mm....why? Original was perfect size and thickness.

I like the look of that MM too. I've been thinking about one for a while, that one in green might just tip the balance. Do you know if they are JDM release only?

Is it a strategy at Seiko lately? You get a fantastic reissue of a legendary model for big money and at the same time you can buy a watch with similar or same case but fucked up hand set for reasonable price...
    Strange.

I copied the model numbers so people could check for info/pics when they like. These images are straight from a Facebook group, as you can see the first is somebody elses screenshot

Said exactly the same on SCWF. Unfortunately, yup. I dunno, the way Seiko are releasing these and how they actually turn out, just makes me think they're dicks. Just not that bothered by it all. At one point I really thought a 6105 reissue will be amazing. Back when 6105s were around 8h to 1k. Now, well I wish they would hurry up and release it..get it over with, and figure something out soon after that isn't a dumbass limited edition hype catching overpriced let down.:)

Seiko are on a mission at present, there recruiting team hit gold with the idea people.

I have had a sbdc053 on a few days now, pretty much ticks all the boxes for me as a watch.

    Happy New Year.

Both SLA models look great, but afraid these will be priced out of my range like the previous limited edition.

This, but I thought they’d blown it with the 43mm Samurais and they haven’t.

Have the black turtle on order and ETA is in late January.

I think all of the new releases in the OP look great and believe there might be some quartz Tuna edition(s) still to be announced since 2018 is the 40th anniversary, fingers crossed!

Yes. They also often cock up the size on the cheap one. This time they threw a curve ball and did it to the expensive one as well.

I must be the only one who feels this way, but the MM300LV is a big eye roll for me.

Solar is ¥48,600 (£320 at current rates) and released Feb 9th in Japan. Chrono is ¥51,840 (£340) and also released on Feb 9th. Both are limited to 300 pieces.

No price or release date info for Japan on the turtle yet.

edit: It was ¥64,800 (£425) at list, and also limited to 300 pieces. Past tense, as it has already sold out here.

Green MM300 - got to be Godzilla if Rolex do the Hulk!

Love the way Seiko are going direction wise, but why another green dial? - I had a 16610LV as a daily wearer for over 5 years, and eventually sold it as I never grew to like the green bezel - and I’ve never regretted it for a second - doesn’t match clothing or skin tone, just an odd colour for a Watch, and now everyone is doing it (a decade later) - why????
