Right let's see what this ones like, quick night cap then straight to bed, work in the morning.

Just back from a mates house, he showed me his custom made Knife collection wow, along with some rare discontinued Spyderco models, he's getting into his Watches now, having owned a tritium bond Seamaster from new he now has a Tissot and Seiko added to his collection and there was ramblings about a Breitling superocean heratage... oh dear, the bug had bitten, may see you on here one day Russ.

FMBrew High 5 IPA, in a bar where it would definitely not be a good idea to come out with the Top Gear ‘NASCAR SUCKS’ line. A damn tasty pint, US microbreweries have IPA nailed.

Given the heat, I may well be starting this evenings activities with a pint of shandy.

I had a half of Arundel Uptown IPA on Tuesday.

Pretty strong at 6%+, but wonderfully tasty!

Castle Eden Ale is the locals choice in the Dun Cow in Durham, I've quaffed it for over 40 years since I was a lad. Several years ago a big new brewery was set up at Seaham and they bought the recipe and planned to produce it. However other lucrative brewing work occupied them until about a year ago and it continued to be brewed at Camerons in Hartlepool, which it had been for years since the old Castle Eden brewery closed, same taste and quality. When the new place decided to make it about a year ago they made a complete balls up, and numerous attempts later it's made at Camerons again. This, Draught Bass (Half Moon) and Sam Smith's OBB (Colpitts) are what I regularly quaff in town, all cracking pints. I also used to enjoy a bottle of Worthington's White Shield in the Moon now and again.

Hartlepool. For better or worse it's my home town. Cameron's Brewery has a fine and proud history.

Indeed, I used to enjoy a pint of Strongarm some years ago, there were a fair few Camerons pubs about and some workingmen's clubs also sold it.

Drinking beer and talking bollocks are natural companions in my experience. I can do both, and not always together . . .

Oooh snakebite, reminds me of my student days (sadly a long time ago).

If the forecast remains crap for Sunday and I don't go cycling I might partake of one or two of these for old times sake tomorrow night...

I put some bottles in the fridge this morning, £3.65 for an evening slurp. I’m having the Banks’s right now, toasting Geraint Thomas’s fantastic achievement today in Le Tour, well done GT!

Recalled a ghostly bottle of King Goblin in my cellar, so chilled it and supping instead of the Peculier. It’s making me feel peculiar..... ;-)

Tonight i shall be having a couple of EFES (Turkish brew and rather tasty) followed by a good French Shiraz.

Took my old lady out on the town last night, was charged £5.25 for a pint of Goose IPA, didn’t stay out long at that price.
Staying in tonight trying something my daughter brought back from Wales taste is very similar to Stella.

I know it's a school night but as I go On-call from Friday for a week, I'll have to get my drinking in before then.
Something new and different to start with (while I watch the T20). Crabbies Stout with Ginger Beer. I shall report back on it soon.

Well that was an average tasting beer, it was as if someone had added ginger beer into a stout...

Next up is one of my favourites. Black Sheep Brewery come up with the goods in the form of Milk Stout. It's a gorgeous beer.

    Estrella for me.

My local Tesco Express was clearing out some of their range and 4 packs of these were half price, so I stocked up.

    A lovely beer
