Schultenbräu Helles, which actually isn’t bad for €0.34 a can! Aldi Saarbrücken.

Howling Hops continue to knock out some very drinkable pales. This was delightful.

And if you’re going large, this has to be one of the best DIPA’s money can buy in the U.K. All Citra, smooth gobfulls of tropical fruits and a zesty over-ripe pineapple finish.

Off to St Austell Brewery tomorrow for a tour and hope to visit Verdant’s tap later in the week.

Made a pilgrimage to St Austell this week. Nice tour, lovely beers, purchased a selection from the shop.

… then walked the dogs and dived into The Rising Sun for a pint as they heavens opened. Tribute of course!

Mmmmm beer. What beer are we drinking tonight?

    BAC brewery Vernacular Hazy IPA

Tastes like shite, and at £10.73 a pint, leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth.

Now if this isn't the first time this has appeared in this thread I'll drink a pint of Foster's.

Three Horses Beer (almost always abbreviated to THB) fresh off the plane via my SiL (she isn't too bad most of the time, although I am expecting a call to fix something imminently)

It has been a good few years since I drank it in its native land and, unusually for a holiday tipple, it tastes just as good here as it does there. It is an unusually good mass produced larger and just a sip is enough to transport me to a different land.

Called into The HopShack to try the Amundsen brewery Donut series Black Forest Glaze Stout.
Getting the chocolates/cherry taste and donut pastry vibe. 7%

Got this as a takeout, probably not for consumption today though.

A new brewery to me “creative juices brewing company”; local-ish to me based in Rickmansworth.

Bought a few to try, starting with The Light Fandango which is a hazy, citrus pale ale. Very nice and drinkable.

A new one from one of my favourite brewery:

A crisp, refreshing but still reasonably dark IPA.

Aldi Weißbier. Not my normal tipple but at 99 cents for 6, I wasn’t complaining. That works out at 18p a pint.

Mmmmm beer. What beer are we drinking tonight?

A wee day trip across the watter from Anstruther to North Berwick where, after a seafood face-stuffing session in a local restaurant, we finished off in a cocktail bar, where I had a delicious Shandon Stout from Cork whilst madam got stuck into the biggest cocktail in the world, before getting the boat home!

    Sounds like a perfect day.
I stayed in Pittenweem a few years ago and attempted to hit a ball around Anstruther golf course. Think we stopped counting after the 3rd hole.
    Beautiful part of the world.

In Leeds with Mrs T , so after shopping had to be Whitelock’s ! They’ve got a mini beer festival on the go , even better !
Started with Parkin Porter from North Riding, next up Red Lane Best Bitter from Amity
Both really good. Have to go up to Turks Head bar to see rest of selections.

Just finished a week of oncall so starting off with a couple of Adnams Ease Up IPA.

Absolutely fabulous. If you've never tried it, you're missing a trick.
