Ahh, that is where I am going wrong. I expect it should be washing down a good steak and kidney pudding too.

Adnams had some good discounts along with free delivery during lockdown. I went through a few cases of Blackshore. An excellent drink. I've been quaffing this recently . . .

Went to The HopShack Saturday afternoon in hope of getting the Northern Monk pancake day brew , success! Had a 1/3 of the Bini Brew Soul meets Body imperial stout, chocolate & ginger.

We then went next door to Horsforth brewery tap , had a couple of the Nightcrawler stout , lovely stuff.

Called into Granville’s Sunday afternoon, had good selection on , had a Wilde Child Dutiful Supremacy Yorkshire bitter and then Brownie Hunter Chocolate Fudge Brownie stout and finished with Salamander Brewery pale ale ( forget the name).

I've had a couple of excellent stouts from this brewer before, stocked by Lidl, but I found this porter in Home Bargains. Slightly cheaper too at £1.69 for 440ml . . .

Called a Granville’s on way home last night ( Wednesday £3 cask night ) hoping Kirkstall Dexter would be on , unfortunately not , so had the Craven CPA instead, very nice.

Tonight I’ve called in at Town Street Tavern and having the Vocation Naughty & Nice.

    Saw this on HUKD

Pick up very large slab (48 cans) of Brewdog Hoppy Xmas for £28.50 with 5% code if you subscribe to their newsletter. And there is 2.55% TCB.

Works out at 60p per can.

6% by volume and a lovely hoppy IPA that is great for all year round. Had it before, so know it is a lovely IPA.

I've tried the Titanic a couple of times, and although I think they may have changed the recipe I still found it too cloying.

I have the same problem with the plum porter but I tried the Titanic Grand Reserve Plum Porter last year and it was excellent... worth looking out for.

It's excellent Alan. I don't care for Durham Brewery's lighter offerings, all too hoppy and astringent for me, but they've never made a bad stout yet. IMHO. ;-)

Went out on bit of pub/bar crawl Saturday afternoon with a mate and my son. Started at Granville’s and had Kirkstall Extra Bitter followed by Wilde Child Glutinous Maximus sticky toffee milk stout.

Then to The Malt and had Ossett Yorkshire Blonde.

We then visited The Town Street Tavern and had the Wilde Child Futures Past London Porter and a Horsforth Pale.

Finished off in The Old Kings Arms with a couple of Kirkstall Pales.

Popped out for a couple last night to Old Kings Arms with Mrs T
Had the Kirkstall Mild L(ight? I assume) a bitter hued drink @5% , really good. Forgot pictures though, then had this when back home.
