Fancied a beer but it's a bit early for anything strong. This was in Tesco last week. It's a very tasty stout, even though it's a low alcohol beer at .5%

I shall be getting some in for my next Oncall rota week.

Actualy I’ve had quite a few nice beers whilst we’ve been out here on hols.

A cheeky bottle of Delirium tonight, it tastes far better than the ABV suggests!

You could never accuse Wychwood of being understated on their labels. Each one is a work or art.

I've been looking for that Black Wych for a while but I've never seen it locally. I even contacted Home Bargains and Tesco, who both stock Wychwood beers, and asked if they could stock it, but to no avail. Have you tried it?

Enjoying my beers whilst listening to some Mike Harding. His material stands the test of time, even though I've heard it a hundred times.

Picked these two lovelies up from the brewery whilst on a bike ride today, the green hop beer is bottled conditioned and made from hops grown at the brewery.

Fancied a beer but as I'll be driving a bit later, I've gone for an alcohol free Ghost Ship. It is very drinkable, put all of those horrific memories of Kaliber to rest, this is a lovely beer with plenty to recommend it with the added bonus of being car friendly.

Strangely the pi$$ that was Kaliber was brought up in conversation today. Mercifully we were in the Half Moon supping some excellent Draught Bass as we recalled our experiences of the throat wrenching liquid that poisoned many a well meaning driver all those years ago. The memories are still raw and painful even now. A glass of Shiraz with my scran shortly and a wee Kraken with ice and lemon later for a night cap. Oh hang on, forgot that healthy abstinence thread . . . . . . f*** that, life's too short, cheers!

On an enforced dry spell at the moment. Re. the Kaliber mention above, this does at least resemble lager. It's not too bad, actually..

I am at a wedding of a dear friend's daughter at a hotel in rural Northumberland. The beer is £6.00 a pint and Mrs Sish is enjoying G & T with the Bride's family at £7.00 a throw. God knows where they get their prices from. You can't take it with you but I'd like to hang on to it a bit longer. I am sipping slowly...

Booked another river cruise around the Netherlands and Belgium next year, taking in the Dutch bulb fields. The better half is looking forward to seeing the acres of blooms.

I'm looking forward to some new beers
