I'll post this here too - another heads up! More cheap beer: https://www.beer52.com/special21

£23 including delivery (normal price over £60 apparently) for all this:

Brilliant offer in our Morrisons across the road, 3 for £5 lovely and as you say too easy to quaff. Love it. Had three yesterday and they taste epic in the old antique silver plate tankard.

That’s a good deal for that selection. Some great beers in there.

    Tonights selection.

Also made a little investment in one of London’s best indie breweries this week, and bought a few of their Best to celebrate.

And in this threads little world, here’s a SOTN from the Fridge of Dreams...

A neighbour dropped by a bag of brightly coloured tins. This is the first and is quite nice if a little sweet.

First indoor public house drink tonight , Kirkstall Smoked Black Band Porter, definite smokey finish, followed swiftly by Wilde Child Brownie Hunter.

First pint in the Cornish sun, had to be a classic...

... at this point I was “buying mint sauce”. On my return to the house St Austell passed the baton to Truro...

And onto dessert. This purchased from Waitrose, it’s absolutely bloody lovely...

A less known and appreciated style of beer, but one I enjoy a lot in the summer is Grisette. Picked up this one from Wilderness (a relatively new to me Welsh microbrewery) and enjoyed it very much.

I’m an investor in Falmouth’s Verdant brewery so while I’m down here it’d be a travesty if I didn’t visit their bar and have a bite to eat. So I did :o)

Dropped Limb, collaboration with Norfolk’s Duration...

I Played Trumpet On That Tune, a Citra pale which I absolutely loved. Found out this is the baby brother to their big juicy DIPA Fruit Car Sight Exhibition that I posted above.

The return of a classic, Roy, I Want A Hilux...

And their new Big Pigs DIPA, plus a shot of the fantastic lobster roll I scoffed while quaffing all these...

Good to see members making their way into pubs. Haven't had the opportunity yet but maybe over the bank holiday.

In the meantime another one of last weeks colourful tins.

Seeing grapefruit peel as an ingredient I didn't expect to like it. But I do. It is really quite nice.

Last day in Kernow today so I fuelled up at Tatams Portscatho before taking the wife for a craftbeer tour to pickup supplies.

First stop, the new Verdant brewery.

And on to Red Elephant in Truro for some stuff you can’t readily get in London.

I'll be in there after things are more normal in June/July. I've an excursion planned via the railway, and I'll also be visiting a couple of favourite gems ie The Minster Inn and The Blue Bell.

Tiny Rebel Clwb Tropica down, Lervig's Orange Velvet lined up next.

The Ale House in Chelmsford hasn't got the full range back in yet however there's still a pretty decent choice.

First time this year I've been able to sit out next to the pond and enjoy a beer. There's plenty of wildlife about tonight to appreciate, the blackbirds are in full song.

These have been on offer of late but at 6.1% you won't be drinking more than one or two in a sitting.

The IPA went down far too easily. Now moving onto the Guinness West Indian Porter. Chocolate malty taste. Lovely. Includes obligatory photo of this week's watch.

The rate that the beers are getting consumed, I'll be posting in the Whisky thread before 10.00pm...

Shepherd Neame brew the Lidl own brand bottled ales, and very good they are too.

CardShark the Belgian Monk in Norwich has a fantastic Beer Menu akin to the one you showed. Well worth hunting out, as is The Fat Cat in Norwich
