That is quite a session S. My favourite beer is 'Only sharks need water' but I find Whale Sharks to be too much of a good thing.

Fair play to you and I know what you mean. I found it very subtle actually, really enjoyed it. One thing I enjoy about Verdant is how they have developed their ranges of Pale > IPA > DIPA in “family groups”. E.g. the NN Watt Moon series, Marylou > Neal Gets Things Done, I Played Trumpet > Fruit Car Sight Exhibition etc

My local has just installed a Beavertown tap, Neck Oil IPA, Bones lager, and (previously not tried), Gamma Ray pale ale.
I am considering taking up residence.

Genuinely think this is one of the best NE IPA’s you can buy in the UK right now.

And this, from a previously unknown (to me) little Long Island brewery, was rather good indeed.

Friend and I run a nanobrewery as a loss-making sideline, in Bromley.

We make very small amounts of beer, but we think to a high standard.

Happy to say our chilli chocolate stout was awarded Beer of the Festival, at the Bromley CAMRA beer festival last month. We were up against about 100 other beers, including the likes of Cloudwater and Verdant.

    Chuffed!

Beer was called "Where's the bloody vindaloo, hippy?". All of our beer names reference The Young Ones!

I can only agree fully John! Their Jarl is one of my go-to favourites, although I do prefer a darker ale or a really hoppy one.

There are so many breweries now in Scotland, offering a ridiculously good selection of ales!

Not much of a lager boy, but these where hanging around the house and I can actually detect some taste beyond the usual suspects lager sh1te.

Mmmmm beer. What beer are we drinking tonight?

It absolutely destroyed Stella in the taste test. The Stella made the Birra Moretti taste like craft beer in comparison. The Stella is truly awful stuff. I shouldn’t have nicked it from my older kids as it wasn’t worth it.

Have you tried the unfiltered? It’s much, much better. My guilty pleasure.

    ALD-IPA.
A brewdog special made just for... you guessed it, Aldi.
I kept missing the restock but I've secured myself a case now and I'm planning on putting a damn good dent in that tonight after this bloody week.

I tried to drink my way around Southern Africa earlier in the month
Alas all lager but some better than others.

I prefer the lager to the ‘draft’

Quite possibly the worst beer I have ever drank.

    Very nice from Mozambique

I do like a cold ‘Shumba’

This was hit and miss this time - one tasted of oil! It was not on the can it was in the beer! So swerved this for a bit.

Out for a few last night , Granville’s first, Vocation + Friends Pale Ale and a Northern Monk Eternal.

Also got 1/2 of Vocation Death by Margarita , very limey and sour!
Then down to The Tavern and a Horsforth Trinity.

Called in The Little Monk and had a Oktoberfest bottle of lager but forgot picture.
Then into Kings and finished with this.

I'm in Cyprus cooling down with a refreshing bottle of Keo. It's a typical Mediterranean lager, but very refreshing.

Two lovely pale ales this evening.

    This from Lakes Brew Co…

Very smooth, fruity and juicy. I could happily sesh a few of those.

And these from Padstow’s collaboration with Heist…

    St Peter’s Plum Porter.
Enjoying a week’s break at Winterton on Sea so it would be rude not to try a local brew.
