I worry about some of you lot drinking too much. I know times are strange, but I’ve decided to limit myself to one can a night. I suggest it’s an approach that should be copied.

I am not normally a lager drinker but in this warm weather it seems to be hitting the spot.

It has been a while since I drank one of these:

Plus I thought I would treat myself to some of my favourite crisps. Don't think I'll be able to taste the beer afterwards.

I like the cut o' your jib.

Edit. I also like the price of that on their website, £2.16 per bottle, including delivery. Oh yes . . .

Just ordered some Adnams Blackshore Stout using offer code WELCOME15, which makes it £1.90 per 500ml bottle, that's for a box of 12 bottles.

Got myself a re-fillable container, growler - don’t know why they’re called that , and had some take-out from local bottleshop , this one is Faith from Northern Monk nice hazy pale. Impressed with bottle , keeps beer cold for hours keeping it nice and draught like.

Mmmmm beer. What beer are we drinking tonight?

Friday nights dessert beer (which was preceded by Tracks latest Rhubarb & Gooseberry Sour, an East London Cowcatcher and a Vault City SIPA v2)...

Had a bit of a sore head this morning.

This evenings pre-game was a little DDH Pale from Howling Hops...

Followed by a couple of glasses of vino with dinner and this from Cloudwater, which I’m not sure really lived up to the hype of others reviews.

I've never been called one of those before. I much prefer to many of the epithets I have received over the years.

I suppose the next round is on me for that balls up.

My absolute favourite. Lidl used to do 4 for £5, but not seen them stocking for a while.

Had a King, and now for a Kraken for a nightcap. Should have been having a dry night, but got lathered on a walk and had forgotten it's a holiday, so sod it.

Just cracked one Alan! It's been in the fridge for a couple of hours, so maybe a little cooler than pub cellar temperature. 30 mins in the freezer should do it. A little more bitter than the Black Sheep, superb! Thanks to Sinnlover for posting it initially.

    It is a nice beer
I drank my last one yesterday so need to order some more.
Trouble is my beer fridge is crammed full at the moment.
If you like a nice IPA try their Ease Up IPA. Very refreshing on a hot day.
Only 3 more days until I next sup...
I try and stay off the beer in the week.
    Enjoy

Got proper lathered on my walk today. A thirst like that can only be slaked with one thing . . . snakebite! You may scoff, but you wouldn't want to chill ale as you would lager and cider. Trust me this is an extremely refreshing drink. Ideally you want Stella and Scrumpy Jack, the pinnacle of snakydom, gives a head thicker than a docker's sandwich. I knew I had none in, but as I toiled past Home Bargains on my way back from todays walk I spied very few customers inside, so.... you can only buy what's on the shelf. It's actually a good combo . . .

God snake bite takes me back to my youth!
We used to go the Walkabout on Shepherd’s Bush Green after playing rugby on a Saturday
No mater what you ordered you got a pint of snake bite - usually with black-current squash as a top. It got the job done
