    Steel Submariner Discontinued?

Unthinkable I know, but I've just received the latest brochure and price list and they are not listed!

That's like Omega scraping the Speedmaster Moon Watch or McDonalds doing away with the Big Mac - highly unlikely.

New model at Basel, with the new movement currently found in the SD43?

Cue mass hysteria amongst TZers as Subs are bought up for twice their value.

I've been through it 3 or 4 times now thinking I must have made a mistake but they're definitely not there, no steel GMTs either, only bi-metal.

the latest brochure I`ve had sent in the post too. I noticed none of the hard to get pieces are in it apart from SD43

I just think it`s for watches that your AD can easily get without too much effort, bar the SD43 that`s all

Never! New movement at Basel and a pre-announcement price rise and buying frenzy of the previous versions.

I suspect it is the Christmas book which is what I have got and is only a sample from the range.

I would think highly unlikely, given there is already a WG Pepsi version.

Just opened mine from Goldsmiths , it's the festive brochure so probably the only ones you have half a chance of getting rather than the usual fat chance

    Why?
If they want one buy one, if they've got one enjoy it!
Coming from the land of the great S/S Submariner shortage I can't help but feel that someone is playing games with customers to fuel demand.

I picked a brochure (more like a book) from my AD yesterday & the steel Submariner was certainly in it

Quick check on watchfinder will tell you if it’s discontinued, they will have their stock up at 10k

Hmmm, shoot the goose that laid the ''golden egg'' methinks not.

Seasonal sales literature designed to showcase the models they actually have in stock. Nothing to see here.

Nah, they'll make as many as the peanuts can hoover up year on year until the end of time!
