How to made the perfect DateJust>>>>>>

I start with a black Sunbeam dial with romans.

And I add a set of YatchMaster hands.

    And a red datewheel.

    And it looks like this.

And finally a fresh Jubilee bracelet.

It doesn't get better than that IMHO.

Don't forget that Jocke also modified - almost to the point of creating - the Rolex he's photographed here.

That watch looks pretty awesome. Love a splash of colour on the dial. Fantastic photographs, as always, Jocke!

I must admit Jocke, your additions have created a great looking watch.

The dial, yatchmaster second hand, and the red date (and the photos of course) are superb... the mercedes hands not so sure... I think it needs thin hands so the sunbusrt dial stands out more... but just MHO

Love the dial and splash of red. Don't like the Roman numerals or hands. Hands are too bulky for me, and I'm not generally a fan of numerals, too much clutter to detract from the dial

    I'd still wear it, mind.

Got to agree. The Mercedes hands spoil it. Love the second hand though.

Wow, that dial is fantastic, the hands just aren't imho elegant enough -but- I do get that they need to be bold.
    Sexy looking watch either way😎
    Cheers

That is a stunning looking watch and great photos to show it off, nice work! I absolutely love that sunbeam dial and the addition of a red seconds hand is an awesome combination.

Very interesting take on the watch. Its a classic that many will argue needn't be improved, but nice to see someone try something a little different

I don't like how the mercedes 3 points clash with the X. That's just me being wierd but lovely photos and the watch looks great - v.saleable i would imagine.
