First time ever trying a Taste the Difference wine, and got the Amarone - it was luscious. Blackberries and chocolate.

I think the Sainsburys TTD Amerone beats a lot of more expensive versions from both Supermarkets and Wine merchants. Glad you enjoyed it

Aldi's Argentinian Malbec is excellent. (Aldi were voted the best of the supermarket suppliers)

Good to hear it holds its own in the wider market - I've been tempted to try others, but given how delicious I found that one and the steep price steps, I fear they may be going into my palate's area of diminishing returns!

I am just about to pop up to the local Bodega where you can buy 6 Litres of an extremely good local red wine for the outrageous price of €7. The thought of paying £10 for a bottle for something not much better in a UK supermarket makes me cringe.
