Looks pretty much as you expect for the time of year and certainly when you consider the really low temperatures are North of the Arctic Circle!
Yes and we are that close to France and Spain but we dont get their Summers just like we wong get Winter like those Northen countries.
Isn’t it heading west? The prevailing wind is supposed to be from the east over the next week or so. Could get very cold in the next few days.

It's just started snowing, south west London.
From what I can tell that chart is a projection for 2 weeks time.
We had a bit of sleet a just over the river from you.
I just popped to the garage as I need to refill the olive oil (we buy it by the 5L can - the joys of a European mrs - its in everything), its solid, the fats have separated from the liquid leaving a frogspawn type consistency.
I had better turn the heater on.
We had a few flurries here in Surrey.
Only lasted a few minutes though.

Sorry to drag this up from the depths but I have just seen various reports that the UK and Northern Europe could be in for another ‘beast from the east’ starting the middle of next week. Looks like the chart in the OP was accurate.
It’s just going to be a 2 fleece week, far to many headline grabbing scare stories in the press to believe any of them.
