I am in need of a diving watch

Ahh, a poncing about watch.

Whereas a 1000m Sinn that's seen some dish water is somehow different because it's less refined and cheaper.
Bit of a poncing about double bluff there.

I have to admit that a plethora of extremely ugly watches has been mentioned so far assuming they represent the 'other' option.

I reckon I should have clarified that I need a dive watch to wear as jewel, away from water levels deeper than my sink's. That would have avoided all this mess with the sinns and the seikos.

Has anyone suggested a GO Sport Evo? Slightly out of the ordinary and beautifully made with a fabulous big date complication. There’s a picture of my old one in the GO thread.

I think that looks spot on, a good size for you. The FF might well have been a tad over. You do realise now that you have filled your watch box you face the classic WIS quandary of next time you see a watch you want, do I let one go or start filling up a bigger box. ( Your on TZ, you know what the answer is!)

You do realise now that you have filled your watch box you face the classic WIS quandary of next time you see a watch you want, do I let one go or start filling up a bigger box. you got a point, the box is full now but there is a rule, if add one something else needs to go. At the moment though I think I have all the watches I wanted, excluding the JLC master Geographic, but for now I dont want to get rid of something as I like the collection the way it is.

The general idea for the future is not to add something from the same tier again. I am thinking to slowly collect a decent amount os £££ and when in 5 years hit the 40s buy something from the upper tier, maybe something like a Breguet or Lange (maybe Patek too) and replace the one I am the most fed up with.

I know Tim, I had this diving dilemma last Xmas. Decided to go for a standard Rolex as the Blancpain was far too large for my small wrist. I am aware there are some smaller versions but it was hard to find them as they were previous years releases. Is an amazing watch though and it fits you perfectly! As I wrote you, is a steel stunner, wear it in good health!
