I received some more straps in the post today, this one I ordered for my Pelagos FXD.

It isn't an original (obviously) but I like it for its comfort, multi adjustable and the look.

    Classic look.

Last time I posted a Rolex here it was on the bracelet, and some people suggested that a bracelet wasn't a strap.

    This, then, is for them!

I like my Dartmouth on Italian orange leather as a summer combo. Pops from the blue and white dial.

    Here - https://www.esprit-nato.com/en/stand...g_buckle-20_mm

They have a really good selection, will certainly be buying a few more of the Perlons.

    Good summer combo

Both the Bremont and the Damasko are very good choices, love them both.

This arrived today, and I like it, but it might not be to everyone's taste!

I must admit I am not at all into bremont usually, just because I am not a big fan of their overly complicated design on the case and the different layers, which is very personal.
That being said that combo looks ace, and I would definitely wear that!

Even Walter gave his stamp of approval, which shows it was a good choice, and also that you’re safe for his next session of truth telling on the thread!

Is it just me or is the hatched pattern on the case chafing the strap in the centre? Some curved spring bars might help with that.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Bremont straps definitely come with curved spring bars to avoid this, so yes.

Unfortunately yes. The lugs are quite short which helps with how it wears as a 43mm watch but some straps do rub on the case. This is the only one where I notice it which is unfortunate because I really like the strap so dig it out only in the summer. Strap is too rigid for curved bars but I do have some on the original bremont leather strap so could try it.

  20. #2670
If you want to try some Cousins 22mm curved springbars, shoot me your address, I'll pop some in the post tomorrow. (Second class - I"m not made of money.)

Since all of the orange FKM tropic straps seem to be the wrong shade of orange, and the Doxa rubber is almost £500, I thought this combo works as a good Summer option.

A kind offer, thanks. I do have some curved bars from the Bremont straps, just hadn’t occurred to me to try them on this strap, will do so.

I swapped over from a NATO to a rally to lower the profile and see if the holes worked in the heat.

    Love my Zenith.

Another vote for a Di-Modell Rallye strap. Looks pretty good on a 45 year old 5512. Extremely comfortable too and great in warm weather.

Might just be time to let the original bracelet enjoy a period of retirement.

My DS30 came with a plain black leather and I felt it needed a strap with a hint of colour to highlight the second hand.
I posted a WTB for a Damasko strap with stepped lugs I'd seen on the Damasko thread,
in the meantime I took a highlighter pen and modified a cheap double stitch strap I ordered online and was well chuffed with the result, almost perfect.
Today I received the Damasko strap thanks to my WTB and Matt (mj2k) and have to nominate it as perfect contender,
    Damasko certainly nailed this one

I've tried the Baby D on a few straps and always gravitate to this combo.

robbiekhan - that strap on the Stowa is superb. Good choice.

Some of you, you're getting my eye twitching...

This today. A little staid, but a good match.

Cheers Earl. Only had the watch last week from sales corner. The original strap (which I'm not fussed on anyway) is unworn so keeping it that way.
