The SLA045 on a nice soft blue FKM quick release strap with upgraded spring bars.

I also wear it on a grey silicone strap with the same type of spring bars.

Summer watch ready! Staying out of the sun for now, The Doxa BOR it came on was truly awful so I’m wearing it on a strapcode tapered mesh. Does it count as a strap?

Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical on a Nick Mankey hook strap in stealth black with anodised black hardware.

Not very imaginative maybe, but a nice upgrade from the original rubber.

I had the sharky version a few years ago. It was a good watch for the money. Really good AR coating - the best on any watch I have ever had.
The double dome on the crystal is the give a way.

I’d have preferred the Sharkey but for what I paid for this it’s unbelievable really. The watch and the two new FKM straps (one blue and one black) cost me a total of £99.

Console yourself with the thought that they're almost certainly exactly the same watch from the same factory, for less £££

I put my Tipo and Seiko onto CNS ribbed Khaki straps.

These are very firm and hold the watch in position well.

I cut and sealed the ends (a bit to short to fold back with ease) and put an extra hole in for perfect adjustment, its easy to do with this material.

IMHO the CNS name is misleading (with regards quality) they have some very good straps.

Another absolute stunner of a watch, perfect in every way it deserves a good strap.
I feel privledged to own one of the first batch,I wouldnt trade it for a Sub thats a fact.

I had bought some CNS NATOs with gold hardware just because I liked the colour of the strap.

Who would put a gold watch on a strap like this? (though maybe it would work I dont know).

My plan was to sit in the sun and remove the top plating with emery paper and see what effect it gave.

It came out brushed with little dull hints of the gold here and there,I wasnt worried about getting it all off.

The strap colour is a flatter, more khaki hue than in my photos,I think it looks perfect.

Stuff the bracelet. I had to get it on a nice vintage looking soft silicone strap.

I really enjoy my Black Bay Pro with yellow Erika's Original, but I suppose this might be a bit biased view for the perfect combination

I bumped into a RAF Regiment Para this afternoon (a few years younger than me) I noticed the strap on his G shock.

He bought it from 2 REPs PX in Calvi,he was aware of the background to the straps,he had modified it a little.

First time ive seen the original its good quality,I would love one myself.

Tried this generic black with white stitches on my JLC Deep Sea Chrono. Seems to match rather well?

In the hand the Zombie is my favourite leather but on the watch my fave is the Honey.

Been surprised myself by actually wearing the strap options to find it's not always the obvious choice that works the best

It's fortunate that fannying-about with straps is a fair bit cheaper than fannying-about with watches!

Hmm, wonder if Walter rates this combo'

Thrifty-Gentleman 2 piece NATO in grey.
Strap orientation a la Patek P BTW.

I'm not personally a fan of seatbelt NATOs but that is a good strap for the watch.

To be fair, there has been little on this page to draw my ire.

juusom yellow MO had my narrowing my eyes, and j111dja's Rolex makes me twitch, but the rest of you - good job.

Here, for the thread's approval. This will teach me to post a WTB.

The DS30 is delightfully slim and light, despite its 40mm diameter. On the Nick Mankey it's 65g.

The DS66 is an early one - later 66 models have a much more matte bezel insert, never mind the Mk1 dial. A bigger, heavier watch, of course, but the EO strap is a good fit, I think.

Maybe not perfect but I wanted an alternative to the OEM which came with a deployant clasp.
Went for a Hirsch Ayrton but also considered the Robby.
Ayrton has a slight sheen to the carbon effect whereas the Robby sail cloth is more Matt. Initially thought the Ayrton would be the best option as it has the black stitching as opposed to the contrast orange.
After 24 hrs I'm now not convinced I think the Orange is a bit to bright.... Robby/Red now ordered

I like this combo of Haveston and Laco blaue stunde. The Buckle matches the beadblasting of the case.

This comes with a nato and leather strap but neither are particularly comfortable or suitable for around the pool so on goes a rubber B type strap from eBay.

Very comfortable, I’m happy with how it looks and much more practical for holidays.
