    How about a NATO?
    Thanks Mark
I was looking at the Hirsch range, as they have a couple that have a leather look finish, which I believe would be more in keeping with the DJ.

I love these style straps - anyone know what they're called? Single stitch?

The LLD suits this one perfectly I think, 22/18m taper

I actually have all three colours but wear them on my Undone. I used to wear a black dial 36mm Datejust on a black Hirsch Hevea rubber and thought it looked the dog's.

I had a Hirsch Paul (rubber backed leather) performance strap on a Longines. It lasted donkeys even with frequent trips through the shower.

Thanks Mark I was considering the Hirsch Grand Duke

Would it suit or be too thick?

This was another, that I stumbled across.
Though, I can't find very much information on them.

I don't think it would be too thick, the Hirsch Hevea was over 5mm thick I think at the watch head end. Personally I prefer the look of Isoswiss but like you I know nothing about them!

I'm not into that kind of strap personally but that is without a doubt one of the best combos on here, if not the winner itself.

I'm probably in an outgroup of 1 with this, but I am really enjoying this combo:

The strap was super-cheap but doesn't look it in the flesh and is very comfortable, the buckle not hugely more.

Links if anyone else wants to take a look: Strap, various colours and Buckle

I bought this sub homage to remind me of the snowflake sub I used to own. It looked a bit too smart on the Steinhart bracelet but this MN strap tones it down a bit and works really well for me - looks, comfort and practicality-wise.

    Erikas on Alt1-P.

Never been a fan of NATO's, but this has certainly changed my mind.

Barton hybrid cordura. Incredibly comfortable, a lot more supple than I expected.

Maybe not the perfect match but I think it complements it well!

That's nice, the colour gives the speedy a lift. Black & any colour would, I think, work too.

Thank you, I thought so as well! Mainly because of the orange stripe matching a bit the tritium

Looked in the strap drawers to see if I had something other than the bracelet for this, I haven’t got much in 21mm but thought this worked?

I have been looking for an alternative strap to the beautiful Jubilee bracelet which was waterproof and gave a leather pattern look and also complimented the dial.
And imo this fits the bill nicely

And to complete the effect, fitted it to this pin buckle

Very nice Tony. It's toned down the overall look considerably

That looks really good, can I ask what’s the make? Have you used curved spring bars?

Thanks David, to me the colour of the strap perfectly matches the dial and I do catch myself looking at the watch and smiling

Here is the link to the strap, there is not too much information on the brand, but they do have their own website.
They are, imo, a bit expensive, and I did keep going back and forth between this one and the Hirsch Grand Duke, but it was the more traditional pointed end to the strap that finally swung it.
I used the spring bars that came with the strap.

    Thanks.
I was actually a bit gutted it worked soo well. I had just got my strap cases and spring bar tool out. Ready to spend nice hour or so quiet time by myself trying different straps on, see what works or get an idea of what to get for it.
Put this one on first and was like,,,, oh well, that's that done then. haha. Didn't see the point of trying any of the others.

I’ve been trying to find a suitable strap for this for ages ...and today this arrived...

A lovely, soft silicone Hadley Roma MS3351 24mm with red stitching, which I had to source from Kentucky, USA.

It’s precisely what I’ve been looking for.

I think I've found the perfect combination for my DS30!

I'm not sure these pics do it justice but the pumpkin orange over black Barton Elite Silicone strap works so well with the 'yellow' details it has transformed the watch.

My DS30 hasn't had much wrist time lately and compared to my other watches it felt a little bland on it's basic black strap. I tried it on a grey sailcloth from Barton which looked great on a speedmaster on Instagram but did nothing for the DS30. In fact it looked so drab I considered selling it.

I'd heard good things about the Barton Silicone Elite rubber straps but they don't do a yellow so the closest I could get was black with yellow bottom. Part of the problem with the DS30 I have is that the yellow seconds hand and date wheel aren't actually yellow - they are more like a neon so getting a yellow to match is impossible. I always feel that matching a colour with a different shade of the same colour looks odd.

The black on yellow Silicone Elite worked well and I was very impressed with the quality of the strap but it still felt like I needed to go bolder. I very nearly went for the white on black to pick out the white indicies but I eventually went balls out on the orange on black and I'm so glad I did. The DS30 will definitely be staying in the collection.

Can I ask how much that costs and is the orange a slightly pastel orange or a real vibrant punchy orange. Hard to trust a photo image. Wondered what your real life take was on the hue .

£20 delivered from Amazon UK. In terms of hue, I'd say it's slightly muted compared to, say, an Isofrane. I think the black backing takes the hue down a touch. It still looks great though and is 'orange enough' if that makes sense!
