Here is my contribution to the perfect watch/strap combination.
No fancy luxury car or beautiful scenery in the background, here is my Seiko SKX on a waffle strap in a modest work environment.
Really what not to love about a waffle strap on a Seiko diver ?
More seriously, I call it perfect because this particular waffle strap sits perfectly between the lug of a SKX007/009. I’m not sure this is the correct word but the strap is completely flush with the lugs of the SKX, like it was designed for the watch.
    I love it !

    - strap from cheapestnatostrap.com
    - This strap is ok with fat spring bar (you have to push a little bit).
    - 6,75 inches wrist fit perfectly.
    - Budget friendly

Who makes that strap? Is it woven in those colours or dyed?

Or just find a Nomos strap in 19mm- that’s their standard size I think.

This rubber strap looks great but a black Robby with red stitching should do the job.

I don’t know why I didn’t do this a couple of years ago. Loving the Watchgecko vintage leather on my Ultraman. I was thinking about getting an Uncle Seiko as the Omega bracelets are quite pricey but for something I wasn’t sure about, I held off. this was Amazing value for £20.00 and has transformed the watch for me.
    Very happy

    Not bad at all
one of the reasons I sold my GMT was that I couldn't find a perfect strap
a blue Hirsch curved end and an Erikas MN came close but neither were the 'one'

Joseph Bonnie Tropic (silicone) on the Flieger, and Joseph Bonnie (Vulcanised Rubber) on the Baltic. Both excellent quality but the natural rubber one is obviously nicer in look and feel.

A diver strap on a Flieger? Get out!

Still wearing the Miura, still on the velcro.

two entries today... both straps are from Molequin, a little pricy but superb quality.

If there's a sports watch that doesn't look perfect on an Erika's MN strap I'm yet to see it!

Went ahead and bought the Erika's in the end, took advantage of the Black Friday offer to make a small saving. Don't think I could pay that for another, but it is indeed the perfect for this watch(well it is for me at least).

Just bought this from WatchGecko for my SPB097J1. I haven’t decided yet if the stripe on the NATO adds too much colour.

Never tried an Everest before, but it seemed to be the logical choice with no gap between the strap and the case. Poor old bracelet won't get a look in now

That looks excellent Ken, I’ve tried Daytona’s on various straps before but none have been as good as that.

Thanks Greg, I think it helps because the likes of Everest and Rubber B are specifically made to fit various models of Rolex and usually there is a list of the models that each strap is compatible with as you know. Usually more expensive than generic straps, but worth the extra for the superb fit.

I bought it from Lanes in Norwich.

    https://www.lanes.co.uk/shop/categor...straps/watches

I searched google to see if there were any UK outlets and found these. They have quite a selection and the service was superb, next day delivery.
