I had it custom made by SherpLeatherworks, it's this model:

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/6325753...strap-handmade

Leather quality is superb. Both straps were finished within a day. I think it's a steal for this price.

The light one works on nearly every watch I have:

I took mine of it’s rally and put it back on the hirsch.
A strap should compliment not overwhelm the watch in my view.

I had better add this one to the mix. Initial thoughts about it are in the Leather, Rubber & Nylon section if you are curious.

The straps are a little stiff (it is Kevlar) but with a soft leather lining it wears comfy enough.

Not seen that before. Fitted end link Kevlar. I’m intrigued

Having a sort out in my watch drawer had me finding a 24mm Toshi. I bought this of a forum member a while ago and totally forgot I had it. So I've taken the croc' off my Chronospace and replaced it with the Toshi, I think it suits it rather well.

New straps onto my most recent arrivals. I always change out the OEM strap on a PAM, my OCD requires that I keep them as new. No idea why.

    Both straps by vintager.

Thanks. It is the 721. Just picked it up last week. I like that the only panerai branding is the engraving on the rehaut at 12.

Trying the GMT on some straps. These are the best so far.

As much as I love my Nomos, I find their straps too flimsy. I bought this custom made strap from ABP in Paris about 5 years ago. Personally, I think these are a perfect match.

This is absolutely fantastic combo, and a great watch. If I ever get bored of my 556i, I might just go for something like this...

Nice find. I like the deployment.

I agree about the nomos straps, they are quite soft leather and don't last particularly well

Looks class. Am thinking of this one for a Sinn 556i. Interesting how you chose the version without the white line up the middle. Seeing this I think I prefer it

Looks fantastic! Is the day wheel Kanji as well? Did you consider the deployant?

    Thanks.
It does have Kanji datewheel too.
I did consider the deployant - but it’s quite pricey, so plumped for the tang buckle for now.

Lovely. Yes it is, nice piece of engineering though and you can separate the buckle from it if needed. Maybe one will come up on here at some point.

Just realised that strap matches shoes.

Unintentional - but possibly subconsciously why I ordered the strap in the first place ?

I have to say I like this CWC G10 on a grey Atelier Pall leather NATO (even more so if they made it in 19mm):

I was also lucky enough to pick up a Toshi strap that is almost a perfect match for this burgundy-faced Nino:
