As I haven't worn this in a while so I set it last night and put it on.
It was strange as somehow it seemed smaller than I remembered so much so I went and checked the specifications.
I put it on a black NATO at first but it seemed to somber so I changed it to this one.

I bought this lovely little O&W Cougar off sc earlier this year, unfortunately it was faulty on arrival (seller offered a refund if I wanted it)
It's taken until today to get it back from the watchmaker, repaired .
So it's been treated to a RIOS 1931 croc print calf stra with a Hirsch deployment clasp
I think it looks quite good , the strap picking up on the dial details
should be good for a great many years now!

Ordered a couple of Nick Mankey hook straps which arrived today, this is his new Bond NATO.
Got it hit with HM Customs again unfortunately but they are worth it, I think they’re the most comfortable straps I own.

Search for Erika’s Originals, they sell elastic straps in the Marine Nationale (MN) style.
For something similar but cheaper (and more comfy IMO) try Luff Elastico straps. Either of these straps go really well with tool watches and I personally prefer them to NATOs.

Cheapest NATO straps do a version as well. Erika's are great, but massively overpriced since the website was redesigned.
