    Panerai Chrono choice

Just like to get the thoughts of our Panerai people,

It's a few years since I've owned a Panerai and quite fancy getting another. I've always fancied a Daylight Chrono but have my head turned by a 1950 Flyback Chrono.

I have a choice of these 2, both around £4.5k each

not actually this one but similar-

The one I have been offered was originally sold in Hong Kong, now back in the UK (Duties have been paid), will come with 19months remaining service warranty and is in very good condition

    or this-

UK watch has 12 months dealer warranty.

Both are 2008 watches with all the bits, the 1950 has alligator and rubber straps, the Daylight only has the rubber.

I have no idea if these are priced ok and less idea if one is more sought after than the other so any advice would be welcomed.

Real first world problem I know but being away from Panerai for so long I have no idea if they are still a sought after brand or whether one of these is more sought after than the other, hoping the collective knowledge on here could help.

    Thanks

I’d go 2 dial 212-213 and there’s a couple on Tz ,a wtb may be worth while.

Not sure about whether it's sought after, but I bought this PAM01109 a couple of months ago and I'm loving it.

I have a few Panerai chronos, almost by accident as it was never a style that totally appealed to me, more a diver guy.
The 213 is a stunner, the domed crystal is amazing, and I do like the upside down crown lever. 615 is a submersible flyback, which has kinda the best of both worlds, and my favourite Pam. 251 really pops in the sun with the white dial (think the pic you posted is a 250, same as 251 but black dial).
Either 213 or 250/1 would be a great choice, would expect at least 4.5 k from a dealer with a warranty.

In the OP post, the top one looks much nicer to me.
