I think that works beautifully - tan strap / blue dial just "pops"

Oddly enough, those don't offend me - they're a strong flavour, and therefore suit the watch. You did the right thing in having no stitching down the straps - they look better like that.

    It's a good strap, if a little green. Shame it's on a shaved dog's foreleg. :)

The Dan Henrys look good, the Panerai 8-Days looks great, the blue rallye strap on the Speedie looks good.

That's more like it. If this thread is about the perfect combo, then that's a winner - thought, care, and a good match.

Tatty is indeed the plan. I have worn it on orange NATO and rubber, but currently in a "tatty" phase. I refer you to the canvas on my 614, which you may recall as the "from a dead body " strap.

I've been swapping straps around over the last week or so...

IWC 3717-02 on a blue aftermarket IWC Portugese-style strap:

On a Big Pilot-style aftermarket strap with deployant:

Fortis B42 Pilot Professional Chronograph on a Toshi:

The Hircsh Ranger seems to work well with the Tissot. Quite thick but very comfortable.

The perfect strap - watch combination THREAD

Liking the look of this combo at the moment

I accidentally fitted the longer (holed) side inside out to show the PINION text & logo - which looks pretty good (IMHO).

Many thanks to Piers for kindly sending the strap with a recent purchase !

The Strapcode Jubilee adds a bit of formality to the playful looks of the Monster. A balanced look, to say the least.

It was a seatbelt NATO from Georgesstraps. I like the seatbelt smooth feel, the colour works fabulously and the chunky buckle and keepers are awesome. I didn't like that it made the watch sit high, so I turned into 2 piece

I didnt realise that would be the case when I ordered - but very pleased that it does.

Still experimenting with my Tudor GMT, it was on a blue Hirsch leather with curved ends which is pretty good combination, I received this strap today and I'm not convinced, don't think NATO's are for me .
What is the perfect 'smart' strap for a Tudor GMT??

Might be tempted with a Stevo para canvas strap soon, handsomely rugged.
Holdfast are the ones you're asking for mine. Around 13 from fleabag.
