I'd like to place another bet with you Raffe.... that Bitcoin will still not have gone to zero on or before 31st December 2099.

Loser's daughter or grandchild pays for £1000 worth of flowers to be delivered to the winner's grave.

Raven not profitable at the moment, we've moved to Eth but their pay outs through the roof even after the upgrade, although 2Miners have provided a solution to mine ETH and get paid in.....BTC. lots of work changing batch files

Sometimes it just feel like a massive rise is coming. No data, no proof, just feels like it’s time.

Wow, something has put a rocket up BTC, less than a month ago it was $39k and now we’re looking at $60k.

Hopefully it drags all the other crypto up with it, would like to see ETH over £3k and ADA at £2.50..

We're above $60k, some say $100k by New Year so has it got +$40k in 11 weeks??

It would be jolly nice but I can’t really see it myself. This recent rise seems to be on quite thin volumes so I suspect it could easily drop back again.

(Though to be clear my assessment is based on the merest “analysis”, just glancing at the charts.)

  18. #4468
My guess is that it will either go up or down

Would that lead to a reduction of interest in the current BTC ETF lookalikes such as MicroStrategy? In any case Mike already appears to be building up the hype ahead of their third quarter results.

Can you explain - the price is currently below $62.2k (by several hundred dollars) no one is buying at 62k now - what is the relevance of $62.2k?

October CME futures were at $62.2, currently trading about $600 above spot.

Insane amount of leveraged traders pushing up financing cost, resulting in very profitable basis trade (currently set to earn 1% in two weeks for just holding short).

I would have waited until after the ATH is pushed through before going short. I fully expect a new ATH to be reached in the next 24 hours, but expect a reasonably significant retracement afterwards. (Back to about $56k)

That’s roundabouts my thinking too. Interesting to see how big the correction that follows will be

Highest weekly close ever for BTC. Bodes well for a new ATH.

I think I risked about £600 on this a few years ago; my portfolio is worth £5115 at the moment. I turned out to be something of a master investment strategist, apparently.

Small long in the future on break of $62.5 today, but no real follow through yet.

I am not convinced. If this doesn't take off within next 24 hours it may just as well falter again.

Lambo is a bit far for me at the mo, thought about a Tesla to keep that share price mooning but Ryan's EV parking thread has put me off!
