Free to join, no idea if it will workout, but hey Bitcoin was free to start with.

This is started up buy the guys that setup paypal, so it might have some legs.

Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this.

Initiative Q is building a new payment network and giving away significant sums of their future currency to early adopters. It’s by invite only and I have a limited number of invites. My personal invite link:

Sign up and forget about it, it’s potentially something for nothing.

Back to the original topic. Bitcoin has been behaving itself very nicely in the background for a while now. With this stability could come a renewed Confidence in it as a currency. One things for sure the banks are humping us dry

Yes you are right Neil; over the one year and further.

The first set got suckered in january 18(good style) the second set in April then the final poor fools in june.

The financial elite and some eastern state interests are playing this like a banjo without any regulation, not to mention organised crime ( whats the diif I hear you laugh) and there are still people out there that believe that this could be the peoples currency

Sold my lot a couple of years back when I did some sizing for the mines - as for the speculators well, as ever, they are and always will be ready to leap in and leap out once they believe that they have (or can) force the market.

HFT on the stock market and now this stuff - the fires are very hot

No I think after the crazy period of late last year early this year it’s been a lot less volatile sitting at a more respectable average around £4500-£5000 which is where it should grow gently from. All the time it’s spiking mental it can’t be embraced really but whilst he doom mongers and poo poo men criticise it you have to remember it was free at the start and available for a few hundred quid for a while too.

I got into Bitcoin early and got largely out selling just over a thousand bitcoin for a tidy profit at 5000 quid. Then cried as I watched it reach £10 each, then £100, then £1000 then £10000.
