To the printing press. Time to mint 3.6bn tethers. Btc to the moon!

Came here to post the same as just saw the berg notification, you’re too on the ball raffe!
So far, BTC dropped $1,000 on the news. Just saying.

Maybe some people don't like the forensic work the FBI have done to find the loot? It's in the public records, some interesting stuff.

I don’t think 1k drop is anything unusual, just general volatility.

Is the drop related to fear that suddenly the market has an extra 120k bitcoins…seems unlikely.

As for the investigation, it’s all on chain. If you can identify wallets you can papertrail back. Only a good thing, helps to dispel the myth that crypto trade is all criminal.

I think this will be positive news in the medium to long term. Might create some (literal) FUD amongst Bitcoin maximalists, but for the average user it will provide some confidence I think.

KPMG Canada is adding BTC and ETH to their treasury.

KPMG is a decentralised (haha) organisation, all of its country organisations are completely independent from each other and only share the brand.

Back at 44k does that mean the drop was transitory…🤔

Interesting placement of the etoro logo at the end of this video… https://mobile.twitter.com/eToroUS/s...64175720013826

Any tips for some of the more exotic coins? Dipped my toe with SOL and MATIC (nothing major, couple hundred in each). MATIC well down, SOL slightly up.

CRV will bounce back in my opinion. One of the better DAO tokens (was tipped elsewhere and I did ok out of it)

It's a fraudulent wash trade with the intention of luring others into the thought that a couple of pixels might actually be worth something.

Absolutely normal in the world of NFTs, 99% fraud.

There was an earlier wash trade for a ridiculous basic cryptopunk but this one seems legit to me. The buyer's wallet has over $370m worth of tokens so this really is a drop in the ocean for them.

This alien punk is the rarest of an iconic NFT so who knows. Of course those not into NFTs think it's all a fraud.

I think the concept of an artist owning the rights to their art, and receiving royalties on future sales , such as a back catalogue , Nile Rodgers looking at this, is sound.

The current mess with jpegs selling for stupid money is just want happens with no regulation, wealthy people will fleece idiots

    This.

    Unfortunately it's 1% legit versus 99% fraud.

Yup loads of great use cases for NFTs and mega bullish on how they will transform our everyday lives in future, but unfortunately the nature of decentralisation also means bad actors are in the space - and increasingly so recently as its too easy to part crypto from idiots through NFTs and hype (saying as one here!)

LVI coin to be launched 23:30 GMT. Wait for the whistle, then sit back and enjoy your ride to the moon.

I remember staying in a hotel over there a few years ago on a business trip during a Superbowl weekend. I was amazed by how much TV news time on the Sunday morning was devoted to commentary and analysis of the commercials during the game. I seem to recall it was the year that the EDS Cat Herders won.

It's actually purely technical, but maybe Putin is watching the same charts?

He had bought a large map representing the sea,
Without the least vestige of land:
And the crew were much pleased when they found it to be
A map they could all understand.

Super disappointing week for the "store of value" - international crisis with gold going through the roof, but bitcoin is just dropping highly correlated with the Nasdaq.

    Maybe just another risky asset...?

Funny how gold moving 1,6% is regarded as “through the roof” by most gold bugs, but a 1.6% move in crypto goes unnoticed. Even a 16% move wouldn’t be regarded as big.

    Crazy times.

Gold is up 5% in a week, while bitcoin is down 11% in the same period.

Funny how you always make sh*t up to defend your positions.

Been trying to lighten up my BTC position since yesterday, but no recovery to be seen. This is looking very weak, a drop below $40k would open up $34k to $36k again.

I just sold half of my position at $40,375.
