Any idea why Litecoin is not recovering as well as most currently?

My son dropped 2k from his student loan on BTC earlier this year and has made 700 quid so far. I dropped 5k into ALTs and have lost 500 quid, state of it, scumbag students

Long term Hodler here... using bitcoin as a savings account making weekly purchases for the longterm..
Do we have any "whole coiner's" in the room?
Will you be trying to time the market and sell near to the top and re buy cheaper or just continue to hodl?
I think this market cycle will be different from previous cycles and we wont see the usual massive correction ..
I think I'll personally be too afraid to sell and just continue buying the dips...
Go prospecting or start selling shovels?

It's an equity basket full of meme stocks. What do you expect?

Litecoin taking a kicking at the moment

I would avoid going on Wednesday. It’s going to be closed. They just told us and cancelled our two night stay starting tomorrow. My daughter is devo……so am I.
On the plus side…..I bought the dip. Now own a few alts and switched everything over to Coinbase Pro beforehand. Nice app.
Just wonder if the dips over yet

I wonder if this is just a fire sale or, to quote Jon Snow, "Winter is coming"?
No, PlanB & TheRoot on Twitter. He’s been saying 43k in September for quite some time.
I’ve also started following the Fear & Greed Index on Twitter which is quite insightful. They don’t have an Index for Regret & Animosity yet, I’ll link it up for you if it ever comes about.

PlanB is hilarious … seems to be a constant re-qualifying of why BTC is a mile off his S2F prediction.
I also note it has already gone below his “worst case” prediction for September.

Plan B? The majority of his tweets these days are COVID-denial and anti-vaxx stuff (he blocked me after I commented on one of his Covid denial tweets). But hey, whatever floats your boat. His 'worst case scenario' is predicting $135k before the year is out, so all good eventually?
I have no regrets, currently short from $51k and all good. If it indeed turns around and goes to $135k before the year end, I am sure I can pick up a good amount on the way up. I think I made about half of my BTC profits being long and the other half with short positions, so I don't really care (even though I still expect bitcoin to eventually go to zero).

I agree with you on his Covid posts - I don’t agree with everything he writes obviously. He said 43k for September and he’s not a mile off
The S2F model is under stress I agree, but not broken yet IMO
And I like the majority of your posts here too, just for the record — maybe more on the pizza thread, but always an interesting conversation none-the-less
Don’t try to be clever, is my advice. There’s people way more clever already in the game. Buy what you can afford to lose, and hold.
Anything else is trading, and that’s difficult for the man in the street
Back at 42k now
