Just another day in Crypto.
Still long for the long term.
Just another day in Crypto.
Still long for the long term.
September is traditionally a bad month for Bitcoin, but I think if we can get another week over at current levels it’ll rise again before the end of the month. Then significantly in the months after that
If I was able to put more money in, now would be my time

It always goes up over the weekend. And then there's the post office. And Elon won't let us down.

If you are frustrated because you bought bitcoin at the top - don't be: you are in the best of companies.
"...the company bought about 5,050 bitcoins for about $242.9 million, implying a per-bitcoin price of $48,099 over the past three weeks..."

Even better:
Fraud! The official Litecoin twitter account tweeted a news about a partnership with Walmart, which was promptly (1 hour later) denied by Walmart. Up it went, down it got sold, millions made, millions lost.
This time, somebody will be arrested. Mark my words.

I must admit I thought bitcoin would be over 50k and staying over it, this past week or so
(Based on zero knowledge, just a hunch)
Normally when I look at investments I can research and predict to a degree - I’m at a loss as to whether Bitcoin is likely to rise or fall over the next 3 months.

'Unfortunately for crypto enthusiasts, the overwhelming majority of Bitcoiners have become utterly separated from reason, scepticism or rational observation.
Bitcoin zealots are now so wilfully blind to any form of criticism, that any valid concern about the cryptocurrency is shot down as FUD and dismissed as the wailings of an infidel'

^^ I mustn't have full zealot status then, as I've always admitted it could go to zero
I don't think it will but I'll certainly be selling chunks when (if!) the amounts bring the 'retirement number' closer

Onwards and upwards!
I can't read charts, but I know a 45' upward slope is good :-)
Are the majority on here day traders or so you hold Bitcoin long term ? Just curious whether you take profit or if you are all more of the let it ride types?
I still don’t like the concept of it but growth is hard to ignore.

I'm holding bitcoin long term, I withdrew ~ my original stake a good few months back, so sitting on profit now
I'll sell chunks (maybe 1/4 - 1/3 of my holding) when the amounts become hard to ignore
For me 'hard to ignore' will be when bitcoin reaches 100k, then 300k, then 500k etc
No plans to sell entirely, ever
Unless you're a trader, my advice would be don't trade
Long term hold, slowly trying to get rid of most of my non-BTC holdings in favour of BTC with the exception of ADA, LINK and FTC.
LT hold here too. Day trade not for me as it's all emotion driven. If you zoom out, BTC is only going one way. But having said that, I'm more bullish on ETH - and having lots of fun dabbling in NFTs.
