That power reserve looks lovely. Do they do one with a handy toenail clipper on the front too? The two plain dial ones look rather nice.

I'm the opposite. I would really like that watch if not for the power reserve. But then I guess I'm not the target market as I can't stand any on-dial power reserve. Really love the way the blue dials look though, very attractive.

For the sake of clarity I was being sarcastic about the power reserve. And the toenail clippers.

Ah, gotcha ;) job hunting has turned my mind to mush, didn't know what you were on about regarding the toenail clippers.

Damn, and here I was thinking the toenail clippers was a good idea.

I've seen worse on a seiko. I prefer the PR model here.

Really like the dial on the date only versions, however the crown seems a tad too large. Maybe it’s just me.

Also someone commented that the minute hand is a bit too short, and now that I’ve seen it it can’t be unseen.

It is a shame they down graded the movement from the original cocktail time but the price is the same..

Love these non-standard dials, now just need a Presage version of the GS snowflake

I'd be perfectly happy with the movement they've fitted, but then putting them at the same price as the old ones is a bit cheeky to say the least.

I like the look of the white dial without the port reserve.

4R calibre behind a pretty dial and at these prices = all fur coat and no knickers.

I'm another fan of the power reserve! The blue dial looks fascinating and I'd love to see one in the metal : the renderings always make it hard to know if one will like/love the real thing. Sadly the movement change seems to be yet another step in the wrong direction w.r.t. value-for-money from Seiko.

    I like your spell check.

Thinking about it, imagine if your watch had sub dials showing wine cellar, port, cigar and so on stock levels. Much more useful than a power reserve you can stick on the back of the watch instead.

Oh stupid phone! I do fancy a nice port myself, the colour would be nice on a dial for sure.

The bracelet looks nice with that squared link effect . I’ve seen that on Sarx or sbdC’s

That's a nicer and better quality one though, not a standard 'cheap' Presage. Retail £875 + VAT.

Absolutely stunning. Seiko continue to knock it out of the park at 1/5th the price of everyone else.

The white dialled presage with the interesting dial is currently available on a few Japanese retailers for around 130,000¥

Yep, here too: prefer the power reserve to the date window, looks wise. The movement selected is a real annoyance though, makes the package seem quite cynically over-priced. The blue one available from 17th November apparently.

I'd presume they'll be here in a few weeks, and the Presage is an export range rather than JDM only.

Other than that it’s pretty spot on for the price

I found the power reserves on other presages I've had confusing and affecting the dial legibility, quite frequently requiring a double take so as not to confuse the hour hand. Particularly when they are in that same window of time in the afternoon where they are in close proximity.
