Fairly sure it fits, I’m thinking about the same but in reverse!
OK, so admit this is a little detailed, possibly obsessive/nerdy but I really want a fat font iInsert to go onto my Red sub 1680.
I have been looking at my lovely 5513 as a potential option to achieve this. Question - will this fit & be ok, and is the 5513 indeed a Mk3 fat font insert?
Appreciate your help on this fine gents

Fits no problem.
The 5513 insert looks modern but it’s difficult to tell with the photos provided.
I understood the same insert fits the 5513, 1680 and the 1665 - so you should be good to go. Don't fit the insert on a unattached bezel, it could crack at the 12 o'clock position. Always attach the bezel first, then put the insert in.
Thanks all - help appreciated - and looks like my red sub will be getting a Mk 3 fat Font Insert soon :-)
This is indeed the case with the inserts, all interchangeable between 5513, 1680 & 1665, however the bezels themselves are not all interchangeable, the 5513 & 1680 are meant to be but the 1665 bezel is deeper and a different profile and doesn't fit the 5513 & 1680 case.
That said I've always found that swapping the full bezel assembly doesn't always work and often leads to a 'stiff' bezel. I assume it's due to the fact the parts have worn at different times and do not fit as snuggly.
OP the insert on the 5513 certainly looks like a MK3 insert but would need better photos to confirm. It also looks as though the patina on the lume plots on the red 1680 are quite a bit darker than the pearl on the 5513, not a deal breaker but may stand out more when installed on the watch.
Couple of beauties.
The 5513 is a ‘69-‘70?? The insert on my ‘69 ft first does look more like lf’s red where the numerals virtually touch the outside of the bezel, would this be correct??

Apologies for the thread hijack, but is this a mark 3 insert? Came on my 5513 MF..could never work it out from the online guides. My failing eyesight doesn’t help either!
Sorry for the crappy pic
No idea - but does bring back the painful memory of throwing away various old faded sub and GMT inserts 15 years ago as I thought they were beyond use......ouch!
No idea why the pic is rubbish, the original is clear. I did it through post image and others have been ok.
So looks like I am not alone with fascination with 5513/1680 blue grey insert
I have a wanted ad for one, failing that - looks like my 5513 will be donating its insert to my 1680 red sub :-)
I recently got my hands on a mk3 with a nice blue fade and then went for a lovely 9315 to replace the 93150.
I have watched a few yt videos, looks a tricky operation to change bezels.
