    ingersoll for minor refurb

thought i’d share an Ingersoll i’ve bought to use as a dress watch, plan to remove the movement etc and send the case to be plated then a new strap. Dial seems in very good condition so hopefully will make a lovely watch

Very nice. Something about a classic 3-6-9-12 you can't beat IMHO.

Please show us when it's finished.

Ingersoll were generally cheap watches with pin-pallet movements. Before comitting significant money into this one I would check that the movement's running OK or just needs servicing to get it right. Getting the case replated will cost a few £££, be sure the watch is the right one to spend money on.

thanks guys, i’m undecided now as although it’s working well and in better condition than expected it’s tiny on my wrist which is putting me off, long hard think before i commit as you said.
