    Comment on last thread and question about brandy

    For many years i have been trying to find a brandy that does not give me a headache, and is smooth, in other words please recommend me a good brandy. I do hope this thread causes no upset or offence as my last one seems to have done.

    My wife drinks Carlos III Solera Reserva, she says that other brandies give her headaches. I've no idea if you'll regard it as smooth enough for your taste though.

    Shame you're in Scotland. You could have popped around to mine to try a few. I don't drink spirits but seemed to have amassed quite the collection!

    Dont know about headaches but my favourite, and I think its 'smooth', has always been Hine Antique although it isnt a cheap option.

    Or armangac, better bang to buck than brandy, try master of malt for some ideas
