Repair Practice Watches - only in for £13!

    Hi Folks,

Bought these for £13 to basically rip apart and learn on... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOUR-GENTS...p2047675.l2557

Being a total novice, I'm going to research and learn, watch videos, read books, practice, break things, swear a lot etc...

Anyone know of basic watch repair college/night classes that I could attend (UK)

    That looks useful enough!

I might need to go back a few stages, not even knowing how to get the case off, for example! :)

Not sure where you're based but the BHI run a variety of courses, many of which look really fascinating..

Look at page 20 for the one that sounds most suitable for you. I've no idea of the cost of such courses though!

There are also distance learning courses: http://bhi.co.uk/training-education/distance-learning/

Excellent! I knew if I dug around enough I'd find something like this. If anyone has any more tips on where to find the basics opening up my first watch, please do share them.
