Very nice!
Paul, a guy 5 houses down the street, is a dialysis patient with lots of spare time on his hands. Before he got ill, he worked at the local brewery. Nowadays he spends his time tinkering with his Westfield and... building cafe racers. Over the last year, he has built 7 bikes and he has sold 6 of them already.
The last one, his current project, is replica from The Walking Dead. His first replica, the others were 'just' cafe racers. I have never seen TWD it, but according to those who have seen the Dixon bike, this bike is a good copy.
The last few days, he has been doing a test run or two, three down the street and around the park. Mostly with a standard exhaust mounted - after all this is a residential neighbourhood... Yesterday, he did a test run with the 'replica' exhaust... Let's call it an interesting sound
This afternoon we had a talk in another neighbour's garden. (This lady wanted to celebrate that she's been living in our street for 50 yrs now, so she asked all neighbours over for beer, whine and a BBQ!)
Anyway, a few pics of Paul's creation. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...R3dzlwMzFzX1Vn

Wow that's different, I googled the original film bike and this one is a very true likeness. Loving the R6 forks they really compliment the look.
As a purist and from the the school of polishing I find the current bobber scene strangely odd, but recognition for a job done well. Plus if he has sold 6 out of 7 of his previous builds other people agree.

I know it's a replica, but the battery on show is ugly.
Small detail - it's not a cafe racer!!
He's done a great job there! ..... clever guy
wow! great job!
Great job. All he need is a crossbow now :)
That's a lot of work right there, the linked photos are testament to that.
(Any chance I could ship him my Westy, Menno?)

Looks great, have you ridden it? What does it feel like on the road with those tyres?
