The view of the French bar with a telly from the place we are staying.
A bush shaped in a way that caused some of the ladies amusement.
Cider served in a tea cup in Saint Malo.
Bedside table with "medication".
2CV.
As an aside, when we had lunch, the chap at the next table was wearing a well-worn Omega ploprof
You should have offered a trade. Our forum watch has more of a story to tell!
It travels more widely and frequently than Howard Marks avoiding the DEA!
BBQ is getting a bit hot.
Friends have bought a small French country house from 1450. I told them we call it ten to three in England. They weren't so sure.
Communal pool very cool
Martini very dry
A few shots from Rennes and Le Mans
And the watch has assisted in the replacement of 10 double glazed units (£192.00 Inc VAT btw) so I now have a great view again from the conservatory, out over the Marlborough Downs.
You could see that too if I'd not focused on the watch...
Watch now in the pits at Silverstone.
Prototype Jaguar, historic FS cars and my view from Copse Corner
And now the after race student party...
Just back from Zakopane in Poland. Cracking trip and beautiful place if any of you get the chance to go.
Obligatory pics below.
I'll stick £10 in to the fundraiser once I'm at a computer.
Cheers Steve and cracking idea.

Wow, that's beautiful
I'm assuming you mean my mugshot

The watch travelled with us today on a road trip north from Bogotá to Paipa in the department of Boyacá, a lakeside town famed for thermal mineral waters.
We stopped for lunch on the way at Puente de Boyacá, a small but significant bridge which is the centrepiece of a number of monuments commemorating the Battle of Boyacá which granted independence to New Granada in 1819.
On Wednesday we started the day with a ride in the woods, followed by a visit to the impressive Vargas Swamp Lancers. This was the location where British Legions fighting under Simón Bolívar against Spain played a decisive role in recovering an unbalanced situation when commander James Rooke (known locally as Jaime Rooke) led the 2nd Rifles in a bayonet charge, gaining the position at great cost.
A pause for lunch and a stroll by Lake Sochagota before adjourning to the thermal pools for the afternoon.
For those interested in such things, the strap is a custom Toshi that I've dug out of the box for this excursion. Very comfortable and I think that it works well.
Next stop, La Paz.
Actually, next stop the BBC. La Paz mañana.
Don't just do something, sit there. - TNH
Looks like you’re having a great trip Matthew. The Toshi looks great on the watch but I presume it didn’t venture into the thermal springs on account of being leather?
If anybody has been following this thread and fancies taking the watch on an excursion, please reserve your dates on the calendar;

There are no more bookings, so all dates are free. The watch has been on its travels for just over a year now and raised nearly £300 for the fundraiser. It would be great to see it on some new adventures and raise the FR total further.
A few photographs from yesterday, cycling the North Yungas Road in Bolivia, AKA 'The World's Most Dangerous Road'. One of the most exhilarating experiences of my life, absolutely incredible. I'm sure that many will have seen this road feature on Top Gear.
Meeting for breakfast in central La Paz.
Getting prepped and having safety briefings at 4,700m/15,400ft.
Setting off...
And heading down through the clouds.
Emerging from the mist...
Finishing at a wildlife sanctuary near Yolosa, way down at around 1,100m/3,600ft, a total descent of more than 3,600m/11,800ft for a meal and a welcome hot shower.
...before the long drive back to La Paz.
Cheers!
Matthew
I did the dangerous road cycle back in 2007 - brings back the memories!
A few photographs from exploring the southwestern corner of Bolivia.
Starting at the Salar de Uyuni.
Obligatory 'perspective' shot.
Sampling the local produce.
And hitting the highlands.
Absolutely brilliant pictures! Thanks so much for sharing.
Those photos are amazing !!
Great perspective shot, so much planning and attention to detail.
Love it.
Epic pictures Mr C!
