A shame that is not a proper aircraft carrier.............No catapult, no cross deck and no arrester wires.

A bit off-topic but what's happening to the F35 maintenance plans? I thought Turkey was going to maintain the UK F35s, but haven't they blown it with the S-400 purchase?

As said, HMS Prince of Wales is every submarine commander's dream - and so recognisable...

Those sneaky guys are always on the hunt. Over the last 10 yrs. I've spent numerous hours on a RIB with a former Dutch Navy sub commander when coaching our kids in their optimists and lasers. Fantastic bloke, phlegmatic character and his one-liners are brilliant. I've heard fantastic stories.

I once asked him how he solved 'low morale' matters. His answer: "Dive and start hunting!" Secondly: "Select the best cook in the Navy for your sub!"

There was a story that Turkey would be involved here and here.

Is that from the same people who had the Tide-class tanker built by Daewoo in Korea? People ashore were still not over it when I saw the ship in Plymouth in 2018.
