I like the day-date, and I guess I could buy a second hand one if I scraped the bottom of the piggy bank, but I'd end up not wearing it often enough to justify ownership. Having said that, the more I look at them the more I like them, I've always been a fan of gold watches.

Like many others on here I have never lusted over yellow gold watches but I must admit as I get older(and wiser!!) I do have a feeling that a yellow gold watch would sit well in the collection?!? Affording a day date stainless steel would be quite nice however a YG one is above me but I must admit if I could I would so I must congratulate you on a great choice!!!
To afford to join your club I'd have to sell my whole watch collection or one of my cars which won't be happening any time soon!!!

for me getting carried away in duty free is buying a huge pack of M&Ms peanut ones.... and gobbling the whole lot before boarding
but have been tempted many times especially on the Amex card
toblerone yellow is a must when in duty free
But probably the only time anyone buys the stuff!
