41 RON spaced to read 4 IRON on a Merc
and I'm sure it was 11 CO on a Brabus Smart, but research suggests that's registered to a Merc too, so I'll have to keep my eyes open in case I see it again

Why pretentious ? it looks a pretty ordinary plate to me which happens to have BOY as the last three digits.
It's a 2012 plate that's been purposely registered on a 2017 vehicle, so it's not a coincidence.

Ironically presented with illegal spacing, should be 8_Y.
If I had a plate worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, I think I'd be very cautious about giving a reason to the DVLA to withdraw it!

Way back when that plate was first issued, I doubt whether there were any rules on spacing, whether or not that makes a difference, I don’t know.

Saw what looked like "WIFEY" on a RR Cullinan yesterday. Not sure what the actual plate was though as the obvious ones don't show up on the DVLA.
