I can’t imagine for a second, that the DVLA didn’t spot that one immediately to sell as a personal plate!

Agreed about the car - beautiful! It can't be the original plate as it was issued pre-1963.

Try newreg.co.uk, I’ve a plate for sale with them and they seem pretty fair.

WTF1 is still on a LaFerrari, but it failed it's MOT in March 2021, for:
    No front numberplate.
Front windscreen damaged and affecting driver's view.

It passed 6 days later and left me wondering how much a windscreen on a LaFerrari costs...

On a million pound car cost to the owner shouldn't be an issue. Owners are selected by Ferrari. Bet there is some mark up though. The front plate absence is the current fashion sadly.

An F40 windscreen was $9000 in the US, plus fitting, but that was about 5 years ago. I cannot imagine it will be less.

Might well be free on insurance if owner uses Autoglass.

£75 excess isn’t it? Which might as well be the same as free if you can afford a LaFerrari.

Correct on both counts MAG1C was owned by Paul Daniels, Tarbuck owned COM1C which used to sit on his Rolls (in the early 70’s. I saw it quite often at Combe Hills GC in Kingston.

It would have been much more impressive if it was parked in a DFS car park ! 😁

    Funny you say that…

I’m pretty sure that plate is owned by Lord Kirkham who owns DFS.

Yeah, I’ve met him a few times through work, his house is an interesting mix of DFS furniture and priceless antiques. Nice fella though.

When I was at uni in Liverpool in about '96 I used to see a clapped out rusty transit van with DEL 80Y, probably the original plate, guess he didn't realise what he had

Saw AML V12 (on an aston obviously) a couple of weeks back. That's gotta be a factory owned plate.
