    Pam 716 Mare Nostrum

So I am off to Florence this weekend and will be visiting the Panerai HQ (Thankfully I have managed to clear this with the other half). I am particularly interested to see the new (remake of the 1993 model) Mare Nostrum in SS size 42mm, which is a limited edition series of 1,000 pieces. They have one in stock and I can view it when I am over.

I have to admit I quite like the look of it, but appreciate it might be like marmite for most.

Any other fans of it on here?

    Andy

I observed an mare nostrum for the first time in Corfu last week, admittedly I did have to come on here to see what it was.
Nice looking watch, good to be different sometimes!!

I wouldn't say I'm a fan as I am sure I can't afford one but I do like the look of it, Marmitey though it is.

Buy it if you can. I am sure it's going to be a valuable one in future.

I don't know if I was looking at the right pics but, from a distance with a bit of a squint, does that not look just like the Tudor Black Bay Chrono?

Edit: Just had a look side-by-side and they're a bit similar, but not that much, false alarm!

I'm not too familiar with the PAM range but I've just googled it. Looks like a Daytona that's been at the cream cakes once too often.

Was thinking at first when i saw one on google, mmm not bad, different for a Panerai, wonder how much they are i thought.
Well only seen a price on Chron24 for the plain bezel on which i DONT like, and blow me down, its a tad pricey for me.

I think they are about 9,900 Euro's - so pretty spenny for a Panerai, but it is a limited edition.
