    5711 blue

About 8 weeks ago I enquired about a blue Nautilus and was told that they would have an idea next February on what allocation they were due for next year. Two weeks ago I got a phone call to say that they had unexpectedly received one. I was away on holiday so first day back today and I've been to collect. I did ask if this was due for someone who turned it down, but apparently not, it was a surprise for them. Who knows but either way I've got it.

Initial impressions - as soon as I saw it, I knew I would like it a lot. As soon as I put it on I loved it. Nothing like any watch I own or have owned. Very classy, quite understated and elegant all round. I know this is a marmite watch for some, not for me it's a fantastic watch. It fits like a glove too, extremely comfortable and perfectly designed to fit the wrist. It's quite lightweight which could be a concern but it's a great size so this offsets any fears I had. I've until recently been keen on wearing bigger sizes around 44mm but in the last year I've preferred nearer the 40mm again. The more I look at the watch the more striking it is, the blue especially. I've taken a couple of pictures, apologies for the lack of quality.

Pic doesn't work for me. I've only ever seen one online and it's a stunner in just about any picture you take! I bet its from another planet in the metal.

    Congratulations

    Awesome! What a turn-around time!

I love mine. After getting over the initial, it's thin, it's light, it just feels right.
It's just a matter of time...

    Congratulations! Amazing watch.

And 8 weeks! Well, 6 if you weren't away. You must have spent millions at that AD to get it so quick, given the fact that everywhere I ask they effectively tell me these are 'reserved' for the regular customers who have bought goods worth hundreds of thousands from their shop and even they have to wait for years to get one.

    Thanks for your comments.

I've bought a few watches from other stores in the group (116500, deep sea blue and a few more) but certainly not a so called big client. I'm fairly sure that me wearing and keeping my watches helps getting a Rolex, this was just right time, right place I think.

I asked them to bare in mind one for my mate as he's ready to buy and was told no chance. Apparently February time is when AD's get an inkling so maybe worth calling around then to make them aware.

A quick measure and I'd say just over 7 1/4 inches so maybe 7 1/2 would be comfortable. I asked them to make it quite snug (as I've lost some weight and planning on losing a little more). They took 2 links out.
