Following a period lurking in the shadows, I've eventually pushed the 'join' button and thought I'd say a quick hello.
From reading other threads, I see it's traditional to ask a daft question and then get flamed, but unfortunately, I already have a holiday watch, a winder and an MX5, so I may get an easy time
My taste in watches is very varied and I really don't have any particular dislikes. I don't get too hung up on when to wear what, being happy to wear my Seiko SKX to a dinner dance, or my JLC ultra thin to the beach.
Unfortunately I haven't figured how to move my photos from my PB account, which seems to have restricted posting, so once fixed I'll pop up some obligatory collection snaps.
I've loved watches for years and have built up a nice box full. I'm not really a collector I'd say, as to me, that involves more than popping to an AD and collecting a ready available production watch. I don't have any vintage interest, but as mentioned earlier, I like a full spectrum of materials, complications and manufacturers. My personal size preference is 42mm, although have some smaller ones, but none larger.
Anyway, it all seems a bit lame without photos, so I'll leave you all there and go and see if I can figure out how to get ready for the Fridaybthread tomorrow.

Yes and will do as and when it suits me. That said, I seem to remember your watches are a little gaudy, you know, the ones no one else likes, so I don’t think you’d like any of mine, as I have taste. No one will take any notice, but it is quite odd, you following me around and searching for opportunities to make yourself look foolish.
