    Panerai aftermarket help....

Given my recent acquisition HERE I'm getting some additional straps made by Mario of Orloff straps http://orloff-straps.blogspot.co.uk/...available.html - I have one of his already and am hugely impressed by the quality.

As a result I could do with some additional tangle buckles to reduce the hassle when swapping over. Do people have any recommendations of decent non-OEM buckles and/or sources. Brushed steel and possibly both trapezoidal and thumbnail in 22mm

New ones from Panerai are £150 a pop

WatchObsession do some - very reasonable price

And I've seen a few that look OK on eBay

I do have one from Heroic which seems pretty solid and true to original - although not sure what shipping costs/customs might add re getting more

    Any thoughts/advice.

    Many thanks

ASW1, your PM inbox is full; here's my message to you, please get back to me once you've freed up some space:

    Hi,
I've got a couple of buckles that I took off straps like these:
    http://www.ebay.in/geb/ImportHubView...d=331825858720

They are 22mm, let me know if you like them, I'll look for them (there's an 80% chance I'll find them). They're decent enough, just not my style, so you can have them.

    Regards,
    lasz

I have had a few Heroic and like them a lot although straps take some breaking in. Keep your eyes peeled I may list a couple soon.

If you want one nearly OEM size with a good quality and for small money, check Steinharts unbranded one.

Have a look at BOB straps for Panerai from Waccex.com.

I use them a lot and they're excellent quality for very sensible money.

Our host has a 22mm screwed fishtail buckle for £10.

It's about a third of the way down this page:

Thanks all. Some very useful suggestions. Will try some of these. Also, turns out that Mario at Orloff has a supply too, so I'll pick up a couple of them from him.

The Mad Dog ones are certainly a bit on the flamboyant side.

lasz - thanks for the great gesture. I've replied by PM.
