Lol - nope, that's definitely not me I'm afraid.

But he sounds like a man of good taste!
So clever my foot fell off.

Especially since I seem to remember you're no stranger to Maseratis...

Who's paying for the new car? If it's the OP, I suggest growing a pair!

She'd be paying mostly, to be fair. She's now gone off the idea and decided she likes her Audi.

She now wants me to look into replacing my old Golf. It's an 07 1.9 TDI and is approaching 100k miles. Going to spend about 7k and my only requirements are lots of gadgets and good looking. I do around 4k miles a year in my car as we use the Audi for going shopping etc. This goes to work via nursery and back.

Fire away with some suggestions! And please feel free to say an Alfa 159 estate is a superb car and I'd be crazy not to get one

Another Golf, given your mileage I would buy petrol.

XC90,XC90, XC90 yes, I have had 3 in a row over the past 6 years. Three kids, one Boxer and a wife all fit. Great in all weathers and a safe as it gets. Check out the U Tube film of an XC90 being rolled, inspires confidence.
    Landrover sh..e in comparison.

Most people buy cars they can't/couldn't afford without finance or lease deals.
It's just a matter of time...

Nothing wrong with fur coat and no knickers.

I'm quite fond of stockings and suspenders with no knickers. Observing not wearing obviously. I've no interest in cars though. I drive a Rav4.

Meant people paying for cars not buying on the never never. Price didn't enter our equation.
