    CWC diver

Great Hodinkee article on CWC.. and the suggestion that they are going to reintroduce an auto model this summer!

My understanding is they the new auto will have the bakerlite lumed bezel and larger minute hand as per the first issue autos
I am looking forward to it. It's definitely on my wish list

I've been waiting for this one for a while now. Have always liked the RN Diver but never been a big fan of the circle logo, together with the original handset this should be a huge win. My only concern is price

If it's a non circle logo with fat minute hand and lumed bezel they can take my trousers down and have their way with me as far as price is concerned.
I am guessing around the grand mark.

Me too. Just hope the lume is bright on both the hands and dial, unlike the standard auto I used to own.

Have read that last night. Is the figure for the case size right, 44 mm? If it is and the reissue is the same size, I can well see myself buying one

I really do like the brand, models and heritage and welcome the new kid.

    I'm in.

It's now avaliable on pre order. Doesn't look like a vintage re issue.
They've upgraded the crystal to sapphire and the bezel action to 120 click.
I've taken advantage of the pre order discount and ordered the new mk II quartz.

That would be the MkII auto then not the 1980 reissue.

There's something unappealing to me about the proportions of this. Looks a bit DIY.

Looking forward to seeing the reissue of the original CWC auto diver later this year as tritium cant be used assume they will use vintage style luminova instead?? and the price circa £1300 my guess.

Yes I can't see any way of preordering it. In an instagram message Silvermans seem to suggest they'll have stock of the 1980 reissue in around July or August...

Thanks, looks great, I really like it. I shudder at the price though... Resin insert rather than bakelite?
