^^^ Beautiful. Good for you, it'd never see the light of day if it were mine - I'd be too scared to damage it!

IWC Aquatimer 3538 Titanium on either rubber or Velcro strap
Had one for donkeys years and so robust, accurate and easy wearing
For me ,one of the best made watches ever.
Must look for a NOS one...

For me it is always the Great White on holiday:
- GMT
- 300m WR
- good looker IMHO
A
This...
...because that’s precisely why I bought it & had it modded.

Last year I wore my deep blue as I was in the sea with my daughter for surfing lessons every day, and the clasp adjusts to dot over a wetsuit.
It's what it's for.

Anything quartz and on a rubber strap or bracelet. However my mickey mouse or snoopy invictas on stripey nato straps also dot the bill
Domed crystal added too - just me being fussy & preferring it over the flat crystal.
A bit more info in this thread ...

Cracking ride into Wales today for a mini holiday.
I stopped to pay my respects at a couple of small village memorials, reading all the names.
When I reached the sea it was perfect, hot with a cooling breeze.
I’ve grown to love this watch,it was just glowing in the sunshine along with the NATO it wasn’t sweaty either.
woodforest bank near me

Most probably be either of these.
Tough enough and easily replaced should something bad happen.
Took this on my last trip to Bali and Europe
Took this on previous Bali trip as well as my trip to Vietnam
And just got back from a trip to Bangkok wearing this
Garmin Fenix 5 here.
Brilliant tide charts on it. Perfect to understand how squashed and therefore near the kids I'm going to be.
This has become my favoured holiday watch
Functional and low key, no one gives it a second look. Though a jeweller in Turkey asked if he could have a look at it, commenting on how nice it was. So far its coped with a 6 hour stint of submersion in the sea and various other activities such as parachute drops, kayaking and messing about on beeches. A quick rinse in the sink and strap change and its fine for evening wear at the bar or restaurant.
Far from haute horology but this has been my holiday watch for many years - the yellow suggests sunshine to me. Keep looking for a higher quality replacement (possibly a Mido), or toying with taking my new Submariner on a nato strap instead
Just back from a 10 day trek in Nepal and I took my polar explorer 2 seemed the obvious choice.
In general for riding a bike I never wear a watch. As mentioned with gloves it's not ideal. Not sure the vibrations are ideal for wearing a mechanical watch, and if you're unfortunate enough to have a spill wouldn't want it digging into my wrist.

Citizen BN0150 diver bought here from fellow forumite Tooks. (Pics is his, I hope he doesn't mind - if so, let me know!)
This watch has all a watch needs (imho that is): tough as nails, scratch-free crystal, the most accurate watch of my collection - expose it to daylight and it goes and goes. Finally, and very important to me: the lumen is fan-tas-tic. And it stays fantastic all night long!
One of my best watch-buys!
Taken just now, perfect for me hol watch...
This will be mine....
Or maybe this....
Usually this Citizen NY0040, with a few spare NATOs to swap out when wet. It was cheap enough that I'm not precious over it, not bothered if it picks up the odd scratch or ding. Having said that it's been remarkably resilient.
2264 for me. I used to have the 2254 but accidently put it in a bin with lunch rubbish, which was a sad day (and true). Anyway, I wear a SubC all day here but can't be bothered with the insurance rigmarole if I lost it abroad. The 2264 is fantastic, especially the quick-set hour hand the quartz Omegas have. A perfectly robust, beautiful holiday watch.
Daytime Seiko on rubber - evening something nicer from the collection. It was this one my last trip.

This - for GMT and in case the plane goes down in the bush and I desperately need to navigate somewhere.

My Seiko Marinemaster MM300 only gets worn on holiday.
It now provokes some kind of Pavlov's dog reaction, a little smile and everything.
Haven't decided which watch will end up as my holiday watch, but it's a toss up between a monster and Tuna (quartz)

Unfortunate...however I don’t buy that she wanted a job as a cleaner.
Probably a few too many sangria and she was flirting. He then thought he had a chance and next minute the watch is gone.
I’ll happily wear an expensive watch in most of Europe.
Johannesburg on the other hand the wrist is naked all week and you really miss a watch.
