    Shipping to America

    Hi all, can anyone recommend the best company to post a watch to the USA, UPS quoted me at £85.50 without insurance!! seems pretty high. cheers Iceman.

    £85.50? Even Fedex would do it cheaper than that. Still no insurance though - you need to arrange that separately or just take your chances.

    I'd probably go with RM Airsure if I had to do it again.

    Priority Mail with Airsure gets here in about a week and requires a signature on delivery. Recent cost was £13. to ship a watch in its box. Tracking isn't step-by-step.

    These shipments seem to avoid customs most of the time.

    UPS always visits customs and requires a check and signature on delivery. DHL is expensive and they frequently misdirect packages in the UK.
