Not much Speedmaster talk lately, I hope the discussion continues from here! I've had multiple different versions of the Speedmaster in past, but I've always let them go. I've had the FOIS for a while now, and I think it's the perfect Speedmaster for me - slightly smaller looking than the Pro, and I like the vintage vibe it has.
I've always been a fan of bracelets, and I recently got the Forstner bracelet for my Speedy FOIS. The bracelet is clearly a quality item, fit and finish is good and it's quite comfortable on the wrist. The bracelet is quite light and thus the watch feels a bit top heavy. As usual, a metal bracelet also makes the watch look a bit bigger. I kind of like it, but I do think the FOIS works better on a strap.
Well I have been offered a 321 by the OB but I am wavering on whether to but it or not. It is so much money but a lovely movement.
Giving mine a run out on a variety of Haveston straps this week…
Speedmasters seem to look good an most …

As old as I am.
Doesn’t however look as old as I do.

I’m still on the fence with mine. Sometimes I think it’s too big for my skinny wrist.

Always great to see some cracking Speedmasters in all their glory.

Some lovely watches on this thread recently, why do I keep reading “ every watch enthusiast must own a Spee……….”

^^ That Ultraman is amazing!
I've not worn my Speedy for a while, but now got a new green strap for it and this combination really works!
Wearing this version today, rather than my X-33 which tends to be my 'go to' .
Bought my 1861 in 1999 as the 30th anniversary edition.
A change of bracelet to strap reduced the overall weight and made the watch so much more comfortable to wear.
Always a delight to have on my wrist, and one of the most legible watches due in part to the white painted hands. Lovely warmth and reflections from the hesalite.
